WCC mentioned he primarily fed Purina but I think the process of making kibble back in those days used better quality ingredients. I feel today's kibble ingredients are made from cheaper quality ingredients. This video is great and I really enjoy hearing of the really good OFRN crosses that made such an impact. One of my best dogs from back in the day was a 3way OFRN, Alligator, Bullyson cross!

Another Great interview. He. On point when he said. People don't always learn the dog. Frist. And when they don't preform correctly they want to blame the breeder or dog or bloodline. The whole time it's them✔️✔️✔️✔️

Mr Garcia, great interview as usual. These old school dogmen are very valuable source of information and inspiration for the folks who own this breed. Even after many years of owning and raising bulldogs, the search for knowledge is never ending. I, for one, cannot get enough. You’re appreciated for your wisdom and willingness to share it.

One thing I love about your interviews is the level of respect for your guests you allow them to talk and even when some guests cut you off you allow them to finish and go back to your thoughts.. Another great interview Mr. Garcia thank you for all you do to educate us on the breed

Yes he sure did. I had to get out because I was convicted of dogfighting for the second time. I gave most of my best dogs to my friend in Mexico and he kept them going.

@@richardgarciaschoolboy7746 i don't know how stiff the sentences in the USA are but over here in the UK it can be anything from a fine and a life time ban from keeping Dogs to 4-5 yrs in jail for repeat offenders..And in jail you'd be treated as the same as child sex offenders they get stabbed beaten and everything in between,, And when figures like Michael Vick get arrested it does'nt help.I don't know if your familiar with the GERARD CAVLAN case ? he was a BIG gaelic football star in ireland and part of THE FARMER BOYS ,,

RG, when asked WesrCC about a woman potentially related to Tudor, were thinking Evelyn Start. She had Cry Baby (a black dog)...down from Dibo...that ended up in Mayfield's hands. Cry Baby produced Eli.

No it was Vera Tudor Storms. She was supposedly a niece or granddaughter of Tudor. She lived in California. A friend reminded me who she was.

Jimmy Boots and his descendants were very people oriented,very intelligent and easy to train. The ones I knew were not human aggressive.

Handwalking is a person walking their dog on a lead and collar or harness and roadwork is using a lead and collar or harness and an apparatus like a bike,car,ATV ect...

You use all three breeding techniques,inbreeding,linebreeding and outcrossing but mostly linebreeding. Loose and tight. As continue forward with each generation all your dogs will be related in some form or another.

I don’t think this guy can speak for the whole west coast when it comes to conditioning a dog I never take shortcuts so the west never messed up just some of lazy dogman messed up
