I was thinking practically the same thing. Watching those SOR guys in the "Terrified" piece AND these guys doing this CCR number, my half-joking, rhetorical question was " Are You Sure These Young People Are ' students' and not stage-ready MUSICIANS ?? " 12 am 12/11/2023

I have heard a lot of remakes of this great hit by Otis Redding and I have to say this is my favorite remake. The vocals were superb and the three guitarist were all smoking hot with there licks. The bass and drummer kept it all together with the guitar solos. I listen to this 3-4 time a week. Outstanding job.

Classic ideas, real r&r guitar. She plays phrases that sort of are like talking, like saying things in sentences. Just very controlled but intense; nice. In time this might really evolve into something pretty special.

The bottom end is perfect. This is a difficult song to hold onto. Hard for drums to keep back the desire to fill. Bass is doing a great job, by first, driving the vocals by setting a comfortable place for the lead vocal girls not to strain to carry the song and, then, widening the field for the six-string players. Guitar breaks are finely held in the mix. Great job!

WOW! Better than I expected! I must be older than most people here. I remember when the original was released in 1967, the year after I graduated from high school, by Gladys Knight & the Pips. Marvin Gaye did his cover a year later in '68. John Fogerty and CCR finally got the bug and released their unique cover in 1970, the year I went to Vietnam - but that didn't stop me from enjoying CCRs version! Now I can listen to, and enjoy, THIS version!
