I really like this video idea. As someone who doesn’t want to spend hundreds of dollars trying out various different clones to find out which one will work, getting a breakdown of what each one does well is super helpful. Would love to see similar videos for other fragrances that are commonly cloned (GIT for example).

There's an Intense flanker to L'Aventure that's really nice. Balanced between on the smoky-fruity spectrum but has great longevity and projection. The Pineapple Vintage line is quite interesting: They try to clone the spectrum of batch variations and is supposed to be the best quality out of any of Aventus clones, although they're not cheap.

Supremacy NOI performance only increased as time went on for me. similar to my CDNIM from 4/5 years ago. Still have both. Adore both. Price to performance is the OG CDNIM EDT for me. Was basically half the price around 30, and I bought Supremacy NOI when it first came out around 54$

I have 2021 batch and like it. It gets compliments almost every time I wear it. It lasts a long time. BTW, I own Cedrat Boise and Explorer and really like them both. I wear them more often, but combined, have not garnered as many compliments as Aventus. Also have Hacivat and is nice, but not as good as aventus imo.

I have all the "clones" mentionned in the video except Hacivat. I also have other ones not mentioned. Believe me, the ones I've received the most compliments by far is Zara Vibrant Leather, the first batches. I still have a couple of bottles, women even stopped me to ask me what I was wearing. Then next one is Reyane Insurrection II (not sure about the number), the one in the white bottle. I also have Lattafa Al Dur Ak Maknoon (something called like this)which is very smoky and I really like it. My advice: just layer a smoky fragrance with a fruitier one and you're done for something outstanding ✌️😉

Another great video Omar. Speaking of inspired by fragrance that people rarely talk about is happy land studios shameless. It’s like you took all the ingredients for Aventus but used them in different amounts than Aventus does. I think it’s superior to Aventus and Hacivat

Great list. Michael Malul has Jetblack Intense which is also very similar to it. I wear that and Hacivat.

The best clone i have had is montagne's pineapple royale. Super strong, very natural smelling, imagine a better armaf club de nuit, once you let it macerate for 2-3 weeks.

Currently testing CDNIM put 2 sprays on my forearm and man this stuff projects well ! I know some people don't like the upfront lemon smell but it's so interesting how that all goes away once it dries down.

I smelled the original Aventus and I can say Club de Nuit is 90% the same.

If you want the same vibe as Creed Aventus buy Nishane Hachivat, from all the other clones it’s the only one fragrance that has the same dna but going in its unique way and also has a rich feeling like all the Creed fragrances plus the performance which is nuclear…

Awesome vid, i was searching for something like this! Since i ran out of Mont Blanc Explorer i'm looking for a new aventus clone, so this overview really helps. I also heard that Loewe Essencia EDP is supposed to be a rather high quality clone with a nice smelling opening, instead of the possibly harsh clones. Would you make a Review about this one as well? I'd love to hear your thoughts on it!

I have Aventus, Hacivat and Explorer. Hacivat is worth every single cent, another level of fresh scent, but with massive longevity. Same neighborhood as Aventus, but quite different. My aventus is 2017 batch and I enjoy it quite a lot. However after watching this review I might consider saving the juice left in my bottle. Explorer stays at my car in case I forget to apply any fragrance at home

I use to have vibrant leather from Zara, it was brilliant it was cheap, and made you feel like a million bucks. Crazy how some companies can charge prices £300+ when it’s identical to a £30 bottle

Not Only Intense got me the most compliments. It’s smells bit deeper and more fruity than the CDNI Edp. Think it’s because of the Extrait the Parfum. CDNI Edp smells fresher and more smoky than Noi. I like both of them i think performance is absolutely Beastmode. I can’t tell wich one performs better. Sillage on Noi is pervert 🤣 I remember one day at the grocery store. A Russian family followed my sillage until they find me just to ask me what I wear. I didn’t own the Montblanc Explorer I tried it once and to be honest with you I wasn’t impressed by it’s performance, the quality was not on the same level as the other 2 and it didn’t last long enough for me to buy it. But I think it’s maybe the better fragrance for you if you work in a small room. One day my boss asked me if i can spray less of my fragrance next time it was too strong for his nose and he was like 4 feet away talking to me. I wore CDNI 4 Sprays and i work in a big hall. Right now i prefer the CDNI more because of it’s freshness. Gets me compliments to and i wore NOI so much that i need a small brake from it. My English is not perfect, still learning so don’t judge me guys. Greetings from Germany

I think Afnan Supremacy NOI is a beastly performance among all and probably the most complimented scent. It may not be the closest clone to aventus but the scent profile as a stand-alone is up there.

Zara Vibrant Leather is being sold at the Zara we have in the mall, so you might find it there.

You can find Zara Vibrant Leather in literally every store/online. I am from Spain but I do not think that’s a difference maker in this aspect. This perfume is Zara’s main one.

I have all of the 'direct clones' except for Club de Nuits' version. Waiting on my Intense Cedrat Boise to come in. Will be purchasing CdN's IM EdP version soon.

A 2016 batch of aventus was my first ever niche fragrance, I still have a small amount left and it's absolutely amazing! CDNIM limited edition is very close to it, just slightly too much lemon. I have both cedrat Boise and the intense, and I'll never understand the 'aventus clone' branding of it, they smell absolutely nothing alike, but are both very nice fragrances. Personally I think the fragrance DNA has been completely ruined by the massive amount of the clones going around 😞.

Hi Omar. Thanks for these comparisons. I just received decants of Armaf CDNIM EDT and Cedrat Boise. At first I thought they were the same samples as I purchased them from the same person.

i got one today and immediately returning it due to receiving totally wrong item, being overcharged and damaged bottle including spraying part not sitting tight. But after 2 sprays this reminded me of an old perfume i had before. The bottle looked like a pine cone and was dark green color. Thanks for the video so i can have similar fragrances instead of this one.

The Best Clone for me comes from Success Pur Parfum called ''Adonis'' It's also a Extrait de Parfum -> Beastmode Performance, never smelled a better one.

I wish you could do a review of Pure Blanc.. I LOVVVE that fragrance!! It used to be my daily but once I moved to Hawaii it became tougher to access.. I would like to see how well you enjoy that so I get an understanding if you enjoy the same notes I do. I blindly purchased the EDT today and I hope I didn't buy the wrong one as opposed to the EDP. Could either be worn as a daily or are they too musk and masculine? DB Light Blue Forever is another favorite of mine! If anyone has smelled either of those fragrances, how would you compare CDNI EDT to those??

I own all of these and I think Explorer and Armaf are worth the price for cheaper alternatives while Hacivat is worth the price for being one of the best fragrances I've ever smelled and something I was thrilled to finally add a full bottle into my collection this month. Imo Aventus doesn't need to exist anymore because it has shit performance and isn't worth the price AND has alternatives that honestly just did /that/ scent profile even better. Cedrat Boise is nice too but totally different from Aventus. I wouldn't even compare them as being in the same DNA.

Explorer layered over cdni gets me way more compliments than anything

I got an Aventus dupe from Essence Vault about 6 months ago and it was incredible. Like a deep blood orange with the woody base. It was surprising because most of their dupes are pretty terrible. But they've reformulated it now and it's not as good sigh.

I would add.. if you would like to have one of the closest opening to aventus cologne go to zara vibrant leather

You did not mention CDNIM Limited edition, which is probably the best clone to aventus and I've owned just about all of them. And, if you layer it with Parfums Vintage Pineapple Vintage Intense, it is spot-on perfect fruity Aventus. Better even!

I tihink you should be doing a new channel called extra School of scent or School of scent 2.0 and review a fragrance brand or a just one fragrance reviewing it and talking about it like gent scents would be really great in my opinion

Just in Spain on holidays, woman in parfum shop made me try Spanish brand Loewe, after 5 minutes i came back to her and ask her is that like Creed aventus? smelled similar but much more pleasant to nose, try it

My wife bought aventus for my birthday (Dec 7). I sprayed it maybe 30 minutes before taking her out and she didn’t know I had it on for our date. She said for $500 I should smell you all day. So I sprayed it on again and she was like now I smell it 😂 mind you the entire time we were in the car. I will add though this past Saturday I wore it again just to go Christmas shopping and while in Target a employee was about 5 ft from me and he was like whoa is that you? Man you smell good… so 🤷🏾‍♂️ I will say for the price you could stick with cheaper options

I’d love to know what you think of Parfums Vintage where they tried to make clones as close as possible to aventus. And they even did clones of the batch variations. I tried Emperor Extrait and it’s just awesome. Ended up buying a full bottle. I do want to try the other versions to see what they’ve come up with.

Imo CDNIM LE (Limited Edition) is the best in the line. More refined & smoother than the EDT vers.

Second bottle of explorer is just started. I like it.

You skipped rasasi zebra which is actually much more natural and effervescent than cdnim. Opening is more like explorer, drydown is a bit mossy. Supremacy NOI i agree not really Aventus clone, zebra is closest. L'aventure is not really that close, is it dense spicy resin elemi mixed with green citrus

I had a strange experience with Cedrat Boise. I bought a sample and was super excited, but when I finally sprayed it on I got a sort of gasoline smell behind the citrus accords. I thought maybe it was just my nose but I had a coworker smell it on my arm without me saying anything about my thoughts and they said the SAME thing “it kind of smells like gasoline” and I let another friend of mine wear it and the sillage was fruity and nice off of him. I’m not sure if it just doesn’t work on my skin or if it just smells better in the air like Aventus does, but I usually just wear Explorer when I don’t want to waste sprays of my vintage bottle of Aventus, and I get better reactions with that than my sample of Cedrat Boise, in fact I’ve found that Explorer is one of my most complimented fragrances out of my 100 bottle collection.
