Beautiful jacket. The S in 613S stands for Slim. A slimmer version of the 613 was something Perfecto fans had requested for many years.

Yes! Also the S doesnt have the football in the armpits and has a slimmer fit in the arms compared to the 613

Just picked this up after watching this video. First impression these jackets look great, strong and durable. These are a slimmer fit so more suited to skinny guys or those with very little extra weight so would size up if you need extra comfort. Only issue is the belt with the eyelets is the same width as the buckle so I find it will scrap against the buckle when tied up. My buckle has to one side that is rough and could scrap the leather on the belt so definitely check that out and smooth that side out. Inner pocket in the jacket is open so no buttons or zippers.

Excuse me but I don't mean to correct you, but on Shott's website the 613S . the S means slim fit. Apparently the 613S sits slightly lower on the waist. The 613 seems to come right to the top of the belt. Both the 613 and 613 S are heavyweight steer hide

You can send you jacket into Schott to get that belt snap installed for $25 plus shipping.

A good tailor (make sure they are competant with leather) or shoe repair shop should be able to intall as well. Maybe for a bit less without the worry of shipping to and from.

I'm confused...Brian is wearing a size LARGE. Then you start talking of sizes in 42/ 43/ 44???? How are they sized please?

I think that size large is a little too roomy on him, but.. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I don’t mean way too big, but I don’t like when jackets come in “S,M,L” for the “fewer sizes fits more” thing.

I have a 618 and I wish that they would put an actual proper inside pocket in there like on the 118 rather than that useless "map pocket" in there. The only thing that is good for is storing some alcohol wipes.

Really? I use the inside pocket of my 618 to store my phone - it could definitely be improved but serves the purpose.

Is there any way to remove the belt from this jacket? I love the jackets look and quality but I know for a fact that I would prefer it even more without the dangling belt.

This is not like Brando's Perfecto, since it doesn't have buttons on both flaps on the neck.

HVB is wearing size 44. He has a 42 inch chest, and you can see that the size 44 has a relaxed fit on him. Size 42 would provide a tighter fit. -DrewZilla

I can confirm. I have a 41.5” chest and 33” waist and a 42 fits tight. The leather is very stiff and heavy so it’ll take a while to break in. These are slim fit so if you have a bit of extra weight would definitely size up. For me it’s tight on my tummy and feel like I need to suck it in a little to zip up.

He said it was developed in the 1920s, which is true. In 1928, Irving Schott designed and produced the first leather motorcycle jacket.

You mean without the epaulettes? Since it's a signature feature of Schott's Perfecto-style jackets, you might look to another style or another brand if you still like the offset zipper.
