These refs need to be held accountable. This was an attempt by the refs to alter the game results. Dennis had been playing suffocating D on Curry up that point. The moment after the refs toss him, Curry gets an easy bucket and the Warriors are on a 5-0 run.

Yep, and considering the description for a tech involves behaviour that disrupts the game, green should have been given a tech each time he went at the referees, but he's a protected species. No one else on that floor is yelling in the ref's face and that's for good reason.

During the regular season, the average number of fouls per game between the Lakers and the Warriors only differed by 4. 2. During the regular season the Lakers averaged 10+ FTAs more than the teams with the most drives to the paint, including the #1 team in the league at that stat, the OKC Thunder while themselves having never been ranked higher than #13. 3. During the regular season, the Memphis Grizzlies were #1 in points in the paint ahead of the Lakers and the Lakers still edged them by an average of 2.3 FTAs per game. 4. During the regular season, the Denver Nuggets were ranked lower than the Lakers both in points in the paint and in drives to the paint AND YET are the ONLY team to have averaged nearly equal the FTAs in their games vs the Lakers. The advantage being an average of 0.25 more FTA per game for the Lakers. So you see, it really doesn't matter about how many 3s or drives to the paint, but the real kicker is this coincidence revolving around the LeTantrum on Jan 28th. The Lakers average FTAs per game - Opponent FTAs per game immediately TRIPLED after the league apologized to them on Jan 29th beginning with their Jan 30th game. Since that time their average FTAs per game - Opponent FTAs has remained roughly triple what it was before the LeTantrum. Also, in the 50 games before the LeTantrum the number of games in which the Lakers had more FTAs PER FOUL was slightly less than that of their opponents. Either way, I say that large of a FTA disparity in more than one game in a playoff series is bad for everyone because of how it looks.
