I started this project some time ago with my published score, the secondo part on left page, the primo part on right page.
When I came to presenting both parts of the score simultaneously in the video, the bar lengths didn’t coincide. So, in Photoshop, I cut, pasted and stretched the parts together as best I could, but the results were far from satisfactory.
I recently discovered a public domain score made by Willi Kahl that addresses just this issue:
The PDF description reads: “Typeset using MuseScore with both parts in the same system (primo above secondo) rather than on facing pages, as an aid in learning the score and rehearsing with two performers”.
I can’t recommend this score too highly, it features in these videos and the PDF is linked above.

Great idea! I think the fugue section near the end is played a little too fast however: there isn’t even a marked tempo change in the urtext score. I have played this with three different partners and not once have we done it at that speed.

Hi Paul. I love your channel, and though of course you already know, I just wanted to say you are an amazing musician. I would like to make a request. I used to play a piece with my best friend in high school, a piece for four hands by Mozart called Fantasy No. 1 in F minor (K594). We learned piano together...I wouldn't say I was very good, but we were both self taught for the most part, and we loved learning together. He died 5 years ago, and I inherited his childhood piano. I played the secondo part, he played primo. If you could upload the primo part, as I am attempting to learn the secondo part, I would really be honored and appreciate it. I can't tell you what it would mean to me. Thank you again for the music you produce. Wishing you and your family all the best.

Thank you so much for this! Very helpful for solo practice. Just for other primos’ reference: the single note of bar 147 is missing, and bar 155’s first beat is one beat too short.

I have a partner (he plays the secondo), but we live far away from each other and can meet up only once a week at a designated location to practice! This is a great idea for musicians.

I’m sorry, measure 158/7:28 isn’t right, it’s the edition making the first note looking shorter causing a missed beat. Then it became very hard to time two parts until you cued the primo again. But this is a great video and extremely helpful despite of that.

When I found this video, I was overjoyed, because I was fighting against rhythm without my second partner. Unfortunately in the bar 115, the first note (7:28) is a quarter note too short. This makes the whole exercise ruined. I'd appreciate you very much, if you could re-upload a corrected version. Also I noticed that the bar 296 had one beat less. So your bar 297 started too early to accompany the primo part. :-(
