Fantastic orchestral performance, superb conductor, deep interpretation.

Another excellent interpretation of the first movement. In my mind, this is completely finished. What more is there to do? Only Shubert has the key to conclude this masterpiece.... I was watching an old black and white classic movie The Black Cat (1934) starring Bela Legosi and Boris Karloff. The music in the background was this 8th Symphony. Twenty years ago I would not have heard this entire Unfinished Symphony or had known it existed before. It is now my favourite composition from Schubert. It is a masterpiece.

Ideal music to listen Sunday is Beethoven , first choice and this movement , second one , any of Mozart 's Master piece ( such as Jupiter , or the 40th ... etc ) as third option . It's like a ritual . I see or I presume that Schubert still young would follow Beethoven in every concert and every new musical production , he adored his music . This symphony reveal that clearly .

Tolle Vorführung. Ich mag auch insbesondere den Stil der Dirigentin, mit ihrer Art zu dirigieren könnte sie problemlos auch in Hogwarts auftreten :-) Schön auch, dass das Video vor dem Applaus ausgeschnitten wurde, so kann man bis zum Schluss die Musik genießen!
