When I started learning the piano 10 years ago, I believed I'd never be able to play this piece. Now, after much practising, I can confirm that is correct.

The Tom and Jerry one was a different arrangement--by Jacob Gimpel,I think. This transcription was made famous by Josef Lhevinne;Hamelin does a great job here,this sort of piece really suits him.😊😊🎹🎶

MrBromaba he’s only a genius having super high sight reading skills and a perfect control of the hands. he could play everything you want with mirrored motion of hands. he is like a left-handed: the skills of the left are slightly better than the skills of the right hand.

Абсолютная безупречность исполнения kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rJ2dh7Kf282UoGQ.htmlsi=FL0KH3q2ev9GB9l6 1928 год а потом эту с нотами kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bsyeraql0rnRgoE.htmlsi=ZNs10VW4Iqiyy9M-

This is one of those extremely rare pieces that actually has a section that has more than 6 sharps or flats in the key signature. Almost unheard of!
@Andrew.Helmick
@Andrew.Helmick 3 жыл бұрын
Not really though. Many romantic composers used key signatures such as g flat major or f sharp major (or their relative minors) Take a look at things like liszts Hungarian rhapsody #2. The friska section is all written in f sharp major. Or Chopins butterfly and black key etudes are both in g flat major. Among many others like parts of liszts b minor sonata or Chopin nocturne in f sharp major.

@@Andrew.Helmick he said MORE than 6 sharps/flats though, and he is right- pieces with 7 sharps (C-Sharp major/A-Sharp minor) or 7 flats (C-flat major/A-Flat minor) are very rare.
