Hi, I have the 24v peg yellow battery. You flashed a note saying there was not an adaptor for this as of yet. I do not have a way to charge the new battery i just purchased (charger was bad, not battery). What do you suggest i do? Please help... Thank you

2-9-2024 👍🏻 I’ve got the 2ah type charger which I use to charge my 12v batteries on my smaller bass boat. I don’t have an adapter which would interchange with the John Deere ride on toy tractor, but do have the old charger which came with the ride on tractor. My thought is to cut the charger adapter off and add proper quick connectors which would connect onto the 2ah charger plug. Does that sound like it would work⁉️

Speed controller kit and the shifter is rewired to activate the reverse relay

Good morning - Just a bit confused about 'which' charger is best for a Peg Perego John Deer ride on? You said the CR 1 won't charge the unit completely so which of the chargers will do that? On a previous video you suggested the CR 6 charger? Can you dispel my confusion for which one I should be purchasing?

I should of bought the optima charger 🔌, then the end plugs. Is there a charger made that you can adjust the amps?

Most RC chargers have adjustable amp rates. It what we use since we are huge into RC

Either one, both models come with peg connector. They also come with different brand connectors

If I have 2 batteries 12v 14ah each, (total 28ah) wired in parallel, can I charge them at 5.6amp current safely?

Have you encountered connection break issue with your imax b6ac charger only on certain lead acid battery and it works fine with other lead acid battery? i was trying to charger the new pair of 14ah battery individually before installing in the car with the aligator clip and always fail on both. i ended up wiring them to the car in parallel and charge both batteries through the charging port and it works. the aligator clip cables looks still have good solder connection though.

Sounds like your charging cables might have a loose connection. I have has solder joints fail and the shrink wrap holds it in place but will loose connection when wiggled.

I have 4 ride ons.....one power wheel one 2 peg Peregos and a kid traxx police car....I have 6 12volt 12AH battery’s each veichle runs one battery at a time. I’d like to be able to charge 4 battery’s at once....what’s my best option? Buy 4 of these charges with corresponding adapters or is there another route you would recommend? Thanks, like the videos!

Since they already threatened legal actions for "defimation of character" all I can say is there are cheaper options but for ease of plug and play it's a great option. Just can't recommend their metal gear...

That jeep has a built in charge ports. Problem is the port has a zenor diode in line and won't allow a smart charger to sense voltage. We talk about it in the product review video on our channel.

i watched all your videos regarding this jeep. very informative.... i saw that you removed the diode in one of your videos, but i thought it was because of the fact you had parallel wired two 12 volts together.

I have looked through a couple of you charger videos. Looking for a charger that is capable of charging an 18v setup. 12v+6v wired in series = 18v None of the chargers you've recommended show 18v as an option. Thoughts or is Mighty Max the magic? I like the smart charger option as I just if it in and forget about it.

Almost all RC chargers have lead acid/PB setting.

Did you ever decide on a 18v charger? Just ordered parts for 18v mod (12v+6v) and would like to spend a little more on a 'smart' 18v charger

@@jonathankrug2704 I used a powerstream 18v charger. I have since upgraded to 24v and don't use it any longer. I did like the lights on the brick though.

You would need to check battery voltage and it should be around 13.0 volts. If u left it on the charger too long it may have damaged the cells.

Just purchased 2 of the CR2 chargers for my kids 24v pp razors. Tried to purchase the 3 prong adapter as well but that item is no longer available. Is the any issue if I purchase an 18ah or 24ah battery to be used with this charger? Thanks

Not at all, just takes longer to charge. Bigger ah batteries can handle a higher amp charger. But the ride time will be longer between charges. Thanks for watching.

@@CustomKidzCars Thanks for the battery tip and suggestions. I am looking at the 12v 26ah batteries as the size would fit better. I can fit the wider shorter battery better than the taller skinny one with the space I have. I can purchase from Amazon as I’ve found them there but if you have a link I will purchase through that so you get credit. I wired in a battery from our other peg perego rzr to test the electronics. Once I hit the pedal the board under the drivers seat starts to ring. It continues to ring until I unplug the battery. I assume bad board? Have you ever seen this?
