That "creek" you hear is NOT the windshield. It's the dash or pillar molding. Glass does not "creek".

They paint the hood striker. Most manufacturers leave them bare. Probably would look better bare but many of the dodge Jeep ram vehicle paint the strike probably paint them cuz they r attached before the paint process. Even new ones get chipped fairly easily. It really not a big deal and if you want you could alway sand away the paint to make it looks more aesthetically pleasing

fixes: 1. Door handle not opening the door well is straight up a mechanical issue, my car doesn't have that issue - consult dealer 2: The passenger vents aren't blocked permanently, there is a set screw that holds it in that you can remove and push out the cover, takes maybe a couple of minutes. The rear lights and that black panel are acrylic housed, so yeah they're prone to scratchs like pretty much all rear and headlights for most modern cars, you basically did fix it just put tint or vinyl over it. The windshield creaking is also that cars personal issue mine also doesn't do that. Also I doubt it is the actual windshield and is more likely the dash and having a lack of sound dampening foam between the windshield and the dash. Actual issue: The scat packs and R/T 5.7 models not coming with a catch can factory

When operating the door handles. Place your fingers under the handle, then wait a second or two for the sensor to activate. This will allow the door to open. If you're to quick, it won't open.

I've never had a problem opening any the dodge dealership I work at, unless I didn't unlock it and I use the smart unlock and open to quick. But I do have problems shutting the door, and that's actually a common thing I've seen, any one we've had in the show room if a person opens it, the door will never fully shut

Nothings is more frustrating then family, Friends and strangers just always wanna compete who cares who’s cars are faster and who can beat who and who has more money etc it’s so frustrating just enjoy your lives no need for competition just love what you love no matter what don’t let anyone ever discourage you because they need 1500+hp to feel satisfied I have a scatpack and a Honda accord and I’m the happiest I can ever be and no one will ever change that

They all do it. The windshield rubber is quite big and it allows alot of flex. My 20 sounds exactly like that pulling into my driveway.

@@aidancommenting new windshields don’t use any rubber but are essential glued to the pinch-weld with polyurethane. Same stuff used on motor mounts so I doubt that sound is from the windshield but most likely from the dash.

On the door handle. You have to touch the inside of the handle to get it to unlock. The sound at the windshield happens in cold weather. Mine does it too. Then the NAV does suck. lol

The open headlight housing increase air flow(pass. side) for cooling (drivers side) is for intake air. Open scoops in hood primarily for increase air flow to cool engine compartment.

@@Alphashadowelite You can buy the open vents for about $68 or you can cut out the vents and put vent shields in and that works & looks good to . The vents ( hood) are another story. They extract engine compartment heat and they are real .I bought a hellcat hood out of Fla. With the scoop but had to buy the extractors separate.

It's a challenger, not a charger. You have 4 doors and the additional frame stability that comes with that. He describes all challengers here, and mine is far from a lemon.

Literally never had any of those problems with my RT except the tail light divider. I took off the dodge emblem and put a cover on. And the vents help keep the engine bay cool. That's why you have the air intake on the driver side to keep the engine itself cool. Guy doesnt even know what he's talking about.

An RT is not a muscle car and doesn't have the cooling problems a scat or hellcat has. Add a shaker and it's actually worse because of how they routed it. Mine is a 3 pedal shaker scatpack, and I had to add the hellcat headlight intake tube myself. They didn't do everything they could do. And this guy is just pointing it out.

The black part gets scratched if you’re not careful with it. Just like any black car, you can’t be touching it a lot with your hands. If you pop the trunk or press the button, you lift from the underneath, not grab the whole thing. The corrosion is from where you live.. highly doubt they’re not salting where you are. It’s bound to happen with most cars. I lived in New England… so yes it’s gonna happen. After no longer living there, no corrosion on vehicles. The ventilations on the passenger side can be added if you decide to do a dual intake set up.. there’s already an intake setup to the driver side, adding another on the passenger may be over doing it.

If you want to avoid the corrosion around your hood latch, take it off put some RVT sealant, preferably gray face seal it stick it back on tape off the edges before you do stick it back on and then you can peel up the excess squeeze out and that corrosion will stop. That’s how we do it in aviation. It’s caused from dissimilar metals that react with each other under heat or be next to each other for a long period of time.

Actually there is a vent in both headlights. I think starting in 2020 theres a little screw that you need to remove from the side of it and then it just pops out. Thats how my 2020 scatpack was when i did the hellcat lower airbox install

With the door handle there is a little silicon thing on the side, you can take it out and there should be a hex bolt or something like that you can tighten it and it will fix the latch unless you just got a messed up spring or sum?

literally every car creaks in cold weather. Also both hood vents are functional. the passenger side feeds into the airbox opening on the driver side. thats why it went from 707hp to 717hp in 2018 and up.

The passenger side headlight can be opened up with 3 small screws. I left mine since the engine bay stays cool enough and keeps road grime from making its way in.

The windshield is a quality control problem with the glue- although it could be that too much flex or twisting is caused from all that power while doing an aggressive launch out of a driveway to the road..and just a case that wasn't thought of by the designers. The hood latch thing is a problem on all cars- a car like really should have been fluid-filmed IN the hood and latch area, underneath and in sensitive areas to prevent corrosion.

That hood issue has been present since 2015 MY. Hoods were replaced under warranty for that condition in my 2016 and 2018 SRT’s. Even have a new SRT hood in the box in the garage where I upgraded to Hellcat hood and put in the Mopar CAI.

A car worth that much shouldn't have fake vents and insanely corrosive latches like that. My 30 year old Audi doesn't have that much corrosion and my plastics look brand new inside and out. They cheaped out everywhere besides the engine just like the STIs do, and they have luxury sticker prices.
