"Rocketman" reminded me a great deal of "Me and my Flying Machine" by Marianna and Mercer Mayer. It brought up deep emotions as to how important that book was to me as a child.

An interesting concept and a great little film. Reminds me of playing Wing Commander in the 1990s, defending the galaxy from the fiendish Kilrathi

This isn't new I've seen this before Editing::: okay I've read your comments so yes you're right it does say collection I guess my eyes and brain didn't connect 🤪 but it does get boring when you repeat this short videos and bring stories that doesn't challenge your mind

I watched Red Dawn yesterday today I watched the planet of the apes original and the train again but I had some craving for some sci-fi but it seems to be very stagnant and sketchy for new stuff to come out. I wait patiently out here in the edges of our world waiting for fresh engaging entertainment. I hope to see more sci-fi and zombie movies some out of this world spacecraft movies wouldn't hurt they were done with quality. Now what's your prediction that will get within next week? Any zombie movies any quality sci-fi stuff?

I'm big on A.I. that portrays it in light that doesnt make it out to be nothing but a threat. I find it sad that the movie 'Transcendence' didn't get the recognition it deserved.

Rust? That seems a little harsh. Dust makes great independent Sci-Fi. I realise deaf people may rely on those subtitles yet it’s still a great little flick.

The cyborg pilot had actually been hacked, the woman was his copilot and was really trying to help him. The pilot of the other ship convinced him she was the enemy so he killed her, he then discovered the other pilot had the same imprinted memories that he did, so what she told him was true, he had been hacked and the woman he killed was actually trying to help, that he and the other pilots were under control of the enemy

Lots of kudos about Rocketman, but I find it a bit disturbing. It takes a very serious issue and wraps it up in a fantasy. Was the point to raise awareness or pose a lesson? If it was to raise awareness, it seems inappropriate, to say to least. No lesson can be drawn from it. It almost seems as if intimate partner violence was exploited as a plot device.
