The vague theme of solipsism was massively outshone by the movie maker’s demonstration of their marvellous skills with VFX. I imagine that this short was intended as a demonstration to prove the company’s chops when it comes to working on large Hollywood productions. Very impressive visuals indeed.

I don't usually expect too much from some of these short films, but sometimes I'm lucky enough to find something like this. I was immediately drawn in, and my only disappointment is that it was entirely too short!! I wanted it to keep going! I wanted to see more, to know more of the story! Everything is perfectly crafted, the sets, the production and costume design are all top-shelf. If hadn't known better, I would have easily thought that I was watching a big-budget film. Truly engrossing! Absolutely excellent work, from front to back, and top to bottom! Very very well done!

R E S O N A T O R !!! WHaM-oH → → story & directed by / MISCHA ROZEMA and T E A M !!!!! Holy crap man I had similar words & feel with this work of frk'n art lol cool. The haunt I think is the story that maybe in the ah-ohhhh our subconscious if you will or consciousness whatever. I would need to watch again [mind still numb processing lol] but if it inserted a re-incarnate event into the story plot well, the whole movie repeats in type of perpetuity because he is trapped right in a idk, mmmmmmm a PRISON PLANET scenario! There maybe lies the HauNT maybe [imo], because we know the story but dont remember [mind-wiped] ............YeT !!! .........so it resonates one might could say /;^)....................well I did say ha ha ! peace out [hope that made sense ] AlwaysForward~Godspeed

Absolutely Wov! The proper philosophical depth even touching the core questions of Physics and religion, but it still ties the loftiness to the main character and the common human predicament of existence manifesting in everybody's Sundays. Expressive acting, intriguing unpredictable narration and a script that is perfectly true to the reality of its premise. Then well done CGI to illustrate the fakeness of reality not to simply show off. This is the best I've ever seen on Dust. I mean ever!

Extremely thought-provoking & some haunting vibes. Many have mentioned it has Matrix feelings. I also thought it had some elements of Inception. I am going to watch it again. It is one of the best Dust shorts I've watched & there are already some images I won't forget. Now I'm going to get some more images to remember.

Fantastically well done CGI, musical scoring, editing, definitely showcases excellent technical and artistic skill rendering all this. At the very end, when it shows the landscape morphing into polygons, or rather revealing the polygons upon which all this was rendered, perhaps the most compelling scene in the entire production. Many different threads woven into this tapestry, but the basic concept is to question reality, or at least the apparent reality of the moment.

What if a narrator asks the audience "What if?" a thousand times? What if a story lacks character development, dialogue, and has only a vague shadow of a plot? What if it compensated for the lack of those things with gorgeous cinematography and high quality visual effects? What if a short film could be simultaneously profound and pointless?

Well done. Was the main character killed when the SUN went BOOM after coronal mass ejection and sent debris into the Earth? Good seed for a feature or series to explore what is really going on. Like a mix of THE MATRIX and INCEPTION. 3 years ago I briefly "DIED" in surgery ... with all the weird things going on the last few years I sometimes wonder if Im not still in surgery or... in some Purgatory Universe, like in final season of tv show LOST. 😱😱😱

Some of the philosophical concept was opposite to the final destination regarding postulations of the juxtaposition between which reality is the real reality - our concept of dream or the nefarious realm of waking state. So, it is something along the lines that the only real thing is the dream - and the world is just an illusion, but the dream IS the world. no matter which is real, and which is dream it is all world - being aware does not make one wise - only wise that he is aware. I say well done and more could be added. it is a no beginning and no ending thing.

What if that acid I just dropped has no effect. No, there it goes... But seriously, I don't know what it means, but it was thought provoking and full of powerful imagery and themes that were compelling enough that I didn't lose interest. I was hoping for an answer. But I'm not really disappointed that there isn't one. The journey is the adventure. Mission accomplished I think. This was very well paced and well put together. Whoever did the music and narration were excellent. It's hard to do something like this and make it work. This works. Databyter
