@@alsen99 yes, it not possible/no one found a way to get water in the nether in 1.13+. And even in 1.12 it is THE most complicated thing you can do in the game.

@Gritted youre definitely just bad if you think getting gear takes ages lmao. It takes about 30 minutes to get a stack of ancient debris, diamonds are a joke to get now; villager trading trivializes enchants, like none of this hard what so ever. Might be missing an enchant here or there, but yup a few hours tops. What are you getting hung up on tbats keeping you so slow lmao

If I was a builder on SciCraft, I'd lean into that. I'd use grey, black, and some accent color glass to add a shell around it to look like a modern high-rise. Yellow glass would work, since that would simulate the gold film used for UV protecting the windows.

You could just disguise the brown mushroom farm as one GIANT brown mushroom, in case you for some reason decide to keep the brown mushroom farm around ;-)

Came here to write this :) it would be funny if they disguised the big farm as the initial farm - like a ilmango statue "mining" the big mushroom under the simple wood roof (kinda symbolic to scale everything up to house the scaled up production :D)

the far render distance mods make the game look amazing with just being able to see thousands of blocks out and to get a real good idea of the scale of some of these projects

13:50 about the eyesore thing, you could build a giant brown mushroom around the farm later, the cobble tower would be inside the mushroom stem and then build a shroom cap above.

God, there's something both inspiring and very satisfying about seeing scicraft start fresh in a new season. The progression of a technical server, done on a version I am familiar with, is glorious to see. Keep it up!

Lol so "fresh" except it is not. Its no new world nothing. Just a few thousand blocks away from the old. They have all the tools they need elytra etc. There is nothing fresh

technically at 3:30 the items (within an 8 block radius of the tnt) are taking 1 damage for every tnt explosion, but since the items have 5 health you don't notice them dying immediately or at all in this case

Maybe I'm being dumb here, but it looks like there is space for source brown mushrooms on all four sides of each platform. Wouldn't that let the mushroom spread faster?

I'm so glad Scicraft did a 'reset'. I've been curious about getting into it for a while now, but I felt so lost with how progressed the world was I would've needed to start from ep1, which would be way too much time spend catching up. Thank you!

you could decorate the stone tower as the blade of a sword planted in the ground, excalibur style, with the handle shaped as a mushroom, that would be cool, and it would be fairly easy i guess to add color to the blade later on if needed to make it look better

@@TheDerpS0N basically they updated from 1.12 to 1.19, which means almost all of their old farms and the items that were in thier main storage were destroyed, this season is building all new farms and such.

You can also find blue ice in patches in frozen oceans, I would recommend getting a texture pack that makes blue ice a little bit more obvious so you don't have to closely inspect every block.

If you want to eventually decorate the mushroom farm you should make it look like the stalk that releases spores, its common in many fungi species (cough cordiceps cough). Or like a giant bean stalk. And you should tell miles go try the mangrove leaves in a more temperate biomes they look amazing.

That "try not to destroy the landscape" effort you made for the ice would be a really cool effort for all sci crafters this season. Just keeping the world looking vanilla whilst the most game breaking and biggest farms are happening over another hill

You should consider using some light shaders in your timelapses! I respect that you don't normally play/record with them, but its so easy to add after the fact in replaymod and it does make a more aesthetic part of the video even more nice looking. Just a suggestion :)

I would actually really like watching yall get Brande mew gear and such. The very start is my favorite stuff to watch. You only need to use early game stuff for a few hours, while end game gear used for hundreds of hours.
