Haven't many of these inventions been around for decades? I know the "Developable Mechanisms" were around in the 60's and the fun house mirror and ball illusion even longer.

The circuit pen...there was a movie about 10 years ago called Ultraviolet with Milla Jovovich. At one point in the movie, she goes to this kiosk that's like an ATM and swipes her bracelet and it prints out a piece of paper that she folds over and uses to call someone. We are a few steps closer to that kind of tech.

The circuit pen is useless,you can play with a pencil and conduct electricity if you want to,as long as the layer of graphite is continuous.The circuit pen can only be used as a toy, if you have batteries, LED lights and other small parts.Not good for actual design and everything it can be used for comes up 100 bigger than what we are able to do already.Just take a look at computer parts and imagine drawing all those circuits with that pen.
