I found using one ramp with the wheel turned left sufficient to get underneath, otherwise some ramps will hit the front bumper. And you can see when to stop!

I just did my oil change could not have done it with out you. I had to jack mine up with jack stands to keep me safe

After getting my oil change from auto shop, my car usually leak, one mechanic told me its due to the wrong size washer. Please let me know what size washer you used. You make this look so easy, I might attempt changing my oil myself. I've fixed dryer, irrigation, wood working using KZfaq, I may as well add auto maintenance (I know how to change coil with error code P0300) but I've always wanted to change my own oil, breaks, transmission fluid, sparks plug. I read somewhere you can jack the car up near the center, maybe offset to the side a bit on the subframe to raise the entire front end up?

I’m not sure you’re supposed to torque the drain plug. If you haven’t messed it up then just a hand tightening should do. Maybe I’m wrong tho 🤷🏽‍♂️

I found many Toyota ist (Japanese version) likes to use mobile 1 0w20 or Castrol LT 0w20 (viscosity around 8.7), even their car is already more than 100000 kms, so why not also use 0w20 in this car? Thanks!

Sadly the cost/time of making the ramps, buying the oil filter wrench and torque wrench - for now, makes this a deal breaker for me. But I can see if you already have these, it is cost effective.

Is there an advantage to using full synthetic? I actually used to use Royal Purple, then Amsoil, but figured it was overkill on a 1.5L 4-cyl, so i switched back. I do use High Mileage oil though, since i'm now past 160,000 on my 2006 Scion xB. So, should I use synthetic over high mileage or vice versa? Thanks.
