Statistics say that many men who work with their tools have a high rate of dyslexia, I am mildly effected by this too. This is why the videos are so important because people with dyslexia are much more visual. The manuals help, but the videos really help.

Can you use the original work sharp knife and tool sharpener for fabric scissors used in sewing? I know in another video you mention that it is not for salon haircutting scissors. My wife's sewing scissors never touch paper only fabric as she is fairly picky about them.

Here i thought the guide stats the red p220 for when damage or chipped scissors if it needs if not then suppose to use the purple 6000 grit to re-sharpen

I have the same sharpener. but I unscrew my scissors and then sharpened them. They are sharp when cutting paper. But now it can not cut plastic or cloth. Before it was sharpened. It was able to. Can over sharpening do this?

This is so wrong on so many levels. This will work fine for your very cheap plastic handled scissors or a workshop pair of scissors and that's all. If you are wanting to sharpen a pair of scissors for a sewer, quilter or for embroidery, this IS NOT your answer and not even close, all you are going to do is upset the owner of the scissors. High quality scissors have very precise cutting angles, some have what is called a standard grind other may have a razor edge or even a knife edge grind. Before attempting to sharpen any scissors be sure you know the type of angle, as well as the exact intended use of the cutting instrument. Scissors have many angles for different purposes and it take knowledge and skill to properly, professionally sharpen scissors.
