July 5, 2024 - The Scituate Sister City Santa Catarina do Fogo, Cape Verde Committee held its second annual Cabo Verde Independence Day Celebration at the Harbor Community Building. Speakers included Chair Angela Ribeiro-Dray, Select Board member Karen Canfield, Barbara Burgo of The Cape Cod Cape Verdean Museum & Cultural Center, Poet Carla Veiga and singer Carina Melodies.
