As a hornets fan, picking fit over talent was one of the stupidest things we’ve done, that’s including every decision MJ has done with the team. Scoot was easily the better talent, and proved a lot more. You saw Brandon’s face when he got drafted, we all knew damn well he didn’t want to come to Charlotte and we didn’t want him here either, we wanted Scoot.

@@Notlameloball i never understood why 'Scoot is clearly the better talent'. brandon miller was the best player in college basketball as a freshman (with everything off court.going on as well), and is a better all around player right now than scoot. i would argue we have no reason to say that either player has a higher ceiling based on their experience thus far, so what's wrong with drafting for fit? miller will provide SO much defensively for us, and can be an easy #1 scoring option if he continues to progress. as a hornets fan i think both guys would've been great picks, it must've come down to how the two guys interacted with the front office and the players in workouts

⁠@@Notlameloballproved what? Scoot is a insane talent but easily a better talent? How? Brandon miller has the talent to be an elite defender, he’s an elite shooter, 6’9. I mean all around he’s easily around the same level or even better then scoot? He averaged 19-8-2 with 1 steal and 1 block almost on 43-38-85 splits. That’s pretty elite, scoot averaged 16-5-6 on 43-28-76 shooting splits with 1 steal a game, both played high competition I’d say one thing about miller that sucked was his march madness performance. He’s still an elite prospect that people like you are completely overlooking

I got an idea, fuse the two Thompson twins into one player picking both of their best stats, Aumen Thompson could be the name idfk, then simulate their career. Leave the draft open to see where his new pick would sit at and if he would become top 3.

Also what about a Shaq career re-simulation but he has a 99 in free throw and a 99 in drawn foul? Also what about if the best players from the 1984 draft (i.e. Michael Jordan, Hakeem Olajuwon, Charles Barkley, John Stockton, & Alvin Robertson--a name lost in NBA history in my opinion, 4x all star, 2nd team all NBA, 1986 DPOY, 6x defensive team, 1986 Most Improved Player, 3x steals leader) were on the same team?

Yo Clique day 2 of asking for a what I call "since day 1" sim, basically put every player (or legend to make things easier) at their peak from 1983 to 2023 and see who accomplishes the most, I'll even do the drafts for u with tendencies if needed
