sLI remember Scooter and Hypersonic being played a lot. Sometimes back to back in the same mix in Australia for sometime they represented the only ‘hard’ sound that people knew about. Then came darkside techno by great DJs like DJ SS. That sound was genuinely hardcore

@WuCHeTa yes, they rule, but i'm not so sure now... many top10 singles? yes, indeed! but that was many years ago. nowadays they only make crap... i havent heard about one single since 2005 having reached place 10 or above ANYWHERE... this "new" jumpstyle-style... well, it's just C.R.A.P.!! no wonder they haven't released any greatest hits albums since 2002... i still have my "rough and tough and dangerous" and "push the beat for this jam" double disc albums... they still rule! today they suck!
