Illegal scooters are are a problem but leaving the scene of an accident is a more serious problem this could have been avoided if the driver would have stopped to see if the man was okay he was pissed off the driver never stopped you could see that in the video but it doesn't excuse the shooting

It is tragic but it could have possibly been avoided if she would just have stopped she didnt know if he was dead or not just just hit somebody two wrongs don't make it right if he was legit riding a motorcycle would she have fled the seen of a motor vehicle accident which is a felony to then go to the police and lie and say he had a gun while riding his scooter which the video clearly shows he didn't truth to this tragic incident people are not held accountable for there actions until after the fact

Watch this video 10 times he the scooter man was 100% wrong. He was driving in an unauthorized area on the street. If he had stayed in line with the cars, he would realize they were stopped for a reason.

Was he driving scooter in a legal lane? Looked to me like he was going fast and in middle to pass all the other cars. Like he was in left turn lane? Not an excuse to shoot but I think he was running from something else to begin with.

Agreed. Looks like driver of car stuck in traffic waved in Audi to allow her to cut across to turn left. Neither car driver anticipated scooter moron using the center lane to obstruct the agreement of the car drivers to let the Audi into traffic. The Audi driver probably had her head looking right to make sure traffic across the street was clear to turn left.

No, that lane was not legal to ride in. It is a no passing, emergency vehicle lane. The opposing traffic stopped to allow the woman in the van to make the turn, but the idiot did not pay attention and was probably high of drunk and here illegally to boot.

Yes he was, the light was red as he approached the intersection, he then skipped the traffic by using the right turn lane. He was also speeding.

Looked like the scooter rider was passing illegally while the other cars had stopped to let the involved car turn left. Scooter guy could not have seen it coming but it was his fault for passing the other cars in the center strip. Then it appears that the car did not stop but immediately attempted to drive away. Hard to tell, though, because the guy may have already began shooting. No requirement to stop and exchange info when the other person is shooting at you. Just the worst city full of garbage people.

So the guy in the scooter is clearly at fault for driving in the wrong lane. But the woman who hit her should also be charged with hit and run. It is clear from the video she was driving away already, which provoked him to start shooting in her direction. just saying..

Your right. Based on the video ALONE, Let-Em-Go Larry has to charge BOTH the hit & run driver AND scooter man. It's illegal to flee a scene of an accident.....even if you believe your life in danger. Scooter man had no justisfication to shoot anyone, The law is the law... same as nobody has the right to fight, evade or shoot police if they put you in detention or arrest EVEN if you are innocent & you aint the suspect.

That shooting could have possibly been avoided if the driver who is committing a crime by leaving the scene of an accident would have stopped they knocked him off the scooter and drive off you can see the man very upset after see the person fleeing and the driver never even had the right away just because cars let you out into traffic doesn't mean you have the right away no excuse for the shooting the police should also be looking for the driver who left the scene of the accident which is a felony the woman that hit him is lying who drivers a scooter motorcycle pedal bike or whatever with a gun in there gun in broad daylight on Allegheny avenue the video never shows the man with a gun in his hand until he gets up and pulls it out his waist ban
