Of course you know I am a Power Scooter Guy. I don't buy the entry level Scooters. I will share what I think might help you... I've checked everywhere- I can't find any info on the H5 Evercross...there's nothing anywhere. Even the Official Manual doesn't give much info on this QSS4 Display. What I do know from all my usage of Scooters with a QSS4 Display is that you Power it on with the Power button. The Mode button only shifts the Speed Modes between 1, 2, and 3. To change your "P" Settings press and hold the power and mode buttons at the same time. Press the power button to shift through the settings and tap the mode button to change those settings to your desired setting. I would think, if you play around with these settings, you will discover which setting adjust your power capacity. Hopefully this helps you Buddy.

Hi Buddy... yes there is a noticeable difference during acceleration if you set on max or minimum, #2 has proven to be the sweet spot for most Electric Scooters (thus most Riders set their "P" Setting to #2 for optimum Battery savings at either range [max or min])

Thank you @Perfect Bill... you are right. Ok @TruHighlander... I think I'm understanding you to say: does each speed level have custom settings? Every Brand tweaks these "P" Settings to fit their particular Product and you should always refer to their Manual for their specific metrics. In general The "P" Settings are programs that affect the overall performance of your eScooter to your unique desire. The Modes that you set outside of your "P" Settings (ie: speed, mph, tire size) are fixed modes that can easily be changed without going into the "P" Settings and will typically reset to basic defaults when your eScooter is powered off. Where as your "P" settings should not change unless you change them again after each reboot of the eScooter. So, the direct answer to your question is: your (Personal) "P" Settings will be over ridden by the Speed Mode selected because Speed Modes are range categorized, for example: Speed Mode 1: Typically 1-18mph Speed Mode 2: Typically 19-28mph Speed Mode 3: Typically 29-60mph These numbers are not specific to any Brand just examples of how they may categorize their Grouping and when you choose 1, 2, or 3 before every ride, you are over riding any "P" Setting that would have said different. For example if you chose 100% Power with medium Battery in "P" Settings but selected #1 as your Speed Mode... you would get 100% Power with medium Battery @1-18mph. I hope this is a more direct answer to your specific question @TruHighlander. Thanks again @Perfect Bill for pointing out my misunderstanding, that's what Family do.

You had me laughing about your reference to one of those two lights (one on the Nanrobot and the other on the Dualtron X 1) because I was just saying to myself why am I leaving them there... So the answer to your question in short, is that their initial purpose was to have an emergency Light if I'm traveling out at night and my main light source discharges. They both last longer than the main sources and provide a surprising amount of light. Yes @Don Scott... like most Electric Scooters, it was determined to be cold climate conditions. I have checked my Storm against all my other eScooters (Thunder, Wolf Warrior, Dualtron X, Dualtron X 2 and D6+) and all are experiencing the same performance issues during this colder climate season. @@SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan I currently own a NanRobot d5+2.0. I want to upgrade to either the Thunder or Storm. The price difference doesn’t matter. Which, do you think, is the better scooter? I like the improvements that have been made to the Storm.

@@kylebuckley7653 I'm not familiar with that wire being unplugged Kyle. I would recommend you call the Vendor and ask them is that wire suppose to be unplugged. Be sure to take several photos from different angles.
