This song evokes many ideas: Birth, death, purpouse, faith, reality. I find this interesting since, from what I've heard, this game has enviromental storytelling only. This means this feelings and ideas are inspired from this interesting game. I love how this artstyle, this aesthethic, of machine and flesh fused into things thatmakes us question that if god made us at his image we made machinery at ours. This uncertanty, this song shows it well, great work.

I have always loved how JT's Rap feels like his own thought process as he's playing the game, just putting his feelings into words, gives every sentence depth and meaning, because each one is required to reach the conclusion, this one being the constant reimbursementof how useless and futile everything is, and how he hates it. Scorn is based on torture…. This has come from the creators of the game as I’ve spoken to them. The way the game is designed is for the player to interpret themselves. They’ll either enjoy it and actually discover it’s true origin/meaning or are completely oblivious to what’s hidden beneath the surface of the game. The graphics are unbelievable and absolutely gorgeous, the art is one you’ll never forget as it’s not seen in this context. Scorn is one game that is truly brilliant and beautiful but, can be a lot to think about in terms of its meaning….

That line "finding my strength while losing my hair" - while it works as a Saitama/One Punch Man joke/reference, it also works the other way around - he is pretty much an Eldritch horror that is sick of his infinite strength, thinking he has no purpose anymore now that he has achieved his dream of becoming the strongest. Scorn is a game about purpose. It’s about the changing of one through life experiences. The first protagonist was stuck, the only one left of a society that died of their own mistakes. They sought to make god through their mutated and powerful “seed” (that’s canon, look it up.). The world they live in was free of sickness, of disease, but they made the same mistakes as our own humanity. They enslaved people bred to be inferior to them, and used them. They created a parasitic flesh species that only exists to kill. And they lost the ability to feel anything from sex. The people of this world use their reproductive organs as a power source for all their technology, which results in the end of the game, the vitruvian chair scene. The protagonist did not feel what you would from that. He only felt the pain. Scorn is a cycle of gaining and losing, the creature bonded to you rips into you the more you progress, you don’t have a choice, because it has the tool you need to finish what your species wanted. This song perfectly captures the pain we go through in this game. The fall. The bonding process. And everything else. JTMusic, this song is amazing, it sounds amazing, and it reflects the hell that is my favorite video game, Scorn. I know I’m like 2 years late lol
