MY old way of doing a Scorpion Kunai Chain was a small tape measure with the tape replaced with a thin rope and a kunai tip (back when it was still a rope in the games and not a chain). It was pretty easy to do since the kind of tape measure I had was the kind that was loose until you pressed the button to retract it. Nobody ever really thinks to do it like that. It's not easy but it worked.

Exceptionally impressive work, however I've got a suggestion wish it might make it slightly better. The only negative thing I see in it is that you have to use both your arms to utilizes your creation, unlike scorpion who uses one. Posible, you could use the activation mechanism of the well-known hidden blade from assassin's creed series ( If that possible, I'm not sure. It's just a suggestion ). All they have to do is pulling a thin rope by a metal ring they wear to cause for the balde to come out, so it might be possible to use the same method to cause for the spear to be launched, using a single-hand action

I think the coolest part is that the kunai doesn't come out of the target, it actually stays in place so you can pull it back in a true "Get over here!" fashion

I have a tip in case you want to come back to this project in the future, why not use the same base as the hookshot from shadow warrior 3 with the system that makes the rope release with the help of a motor along with the hook when releasing the gas and with the same engine pulling the rope when retracting.

I would have said use a more stronger material for the chains that makes it more resistant to impact and my own ideas would be a cord idea that also has two motors that return the blade back when you make a mechanism that uses a button and switch form. The button for launching and the stitch like a reload system to return the blade back.

I've seen other channels where bizarre Far Cry weapons were made real. I think in a few of them, the creator got an official sponsorship from Ubisoft. Of course when I create cool toys, I usually just get some troll spamming get-rich-quick schemes in the blog comments. Or, someone from the government asks me to take it down. Heck, I remade Big Rapids in The Sims 4, and not one of the parties promoted in the OBRL stuff pack ever sponsored me back. I hope they appreciate the free advertising though.

What I would do is have a pressure system like you see on some arrows that makes something pop out once it enters the body and hooks in to actually pull them back like scorpion.

I have a suggestion when dealing with projectiles... Can you like USE or CREATE a rifling, cuz it stabilizes the projectile making it more accurate and not like flying everywhere...I'm not an expert or beginner in welding or metal works... but I suggest creating a rifling for projectile weapons and creations.

Hanzo as human, we threw the kunai on a chain which was kinda common in that era. Hanzo giving his soul up to Quan-chi to become Scorpion, the weapon was out his actual hand. So now I want to see a weapon coming out someone's hand.

It is understandable because of making video for youtube which means too small amount of time by you could make the chain all the way till your shoulder which would look pretty similar. I mean the scorpion turns his arm straight to shoot the kunai.

would it have been possible to create some kind of spiral retractor around the gauntlet? to position the mechanism underneath instead of on the side? and the propulsion just push it out similliar to how how when you pull a small chain out of a jar it will continue to run down without any assistance until the cup is empty?

Maybe it would work better and you could possibly build it smaller (like to actually use in a film.) Less chord means less weight. Means faster shot with your mechanism.) The most weight should be at the tip. Which you.could make look exactly like the films. By using a bungee type chord. Something super strong but some elasticity so the get over here won't have slack because the elasticity will allow it to stretch meaning less chord/chain. Also, it helps with the "Get over here!" (Paint the chord chroma-key green to change to the real Scorpions unrealistic chain.) Without the green, it would be a more viable weapon. Idk just thinking...
