Scorpions! They had the biggest rock ballad ever in the 80's!! You can't skip reacting to "Still Loving You!" An absolute banger that was a major hit. Klaus Mein has a great voice.

Rudolf Schenker and Matthias Jabs are the geniuses behind the guitars. Their work together, lead and supporting role, are second to none. As a guitar player myself, Scorps were one of the bands we played a lot of in our sets back in the day. GREAT stuff.

The great fact about this song & the Scorpions' album 'Blackout' (1982) was that Klaus Meine (vocals) had surgery on his vocal chords a year prior to remove polyps and he could not speak for 6 months (much less sing!) afterwards... The band recalled that he would tell them on notes to get a new singer because even his doctor could not guarantee that his voice would come back after the surgery. But Scorpions were very loyal, especially his friend Rudolf Schenker (guitar) who had co-founded the band w/ him... Rudolf told Klaus that they would wait for him to recover... Klaus worked w/ a therapist and gradually got his voice back after months and was finally able to recover his vocal ability again to where he returned to the studio and finally recorded the vocals for the album and was better than ever. 'Blackout' became another platinum success in the US 🤘🤘

Gentlemen another fabulous reaction. Scorps are a legendary band since the mid 70’s. You should listen to anything with Uli and Michael. Rudy and Mathias are pretty damn good too. Can’t wait until you guys get to the Zeppelin machine (Song Remains The Same) it will blow your mind I promise you that. Please keep on doing this you are absolutely phenomenal.

I really do like this song on so many levels it's a really guilty pleasure from high school basically. I love everything about it. My one regret is that although I got to see them and it was really really good, I never got to see the band UFO which his brother was in, but I bought a couple of their records and they had quite the following, although they never got as famous.
@kevinmassey11644 ай бұрын
Great observation…you guys nailed it. 70’s Scorpions were more raw and heavier. This marks their transition into more commercial material and success in the early MTV years…still good stuff

Same for me. Late 70's to early 80's Scorpions is what I typically listen to more often. Their latest album was a return to that sound, IMO. Give it a spin if you haven't. If you have... spin it again.

Great song. This is the song that started me on my Scorpions journey over 40 years ago. I love the 70's version of the band, but also this one from about 1979 on. When Uli Jon Roth left the band in 1978-79 they auditioned over 140 guitarists before selecting Matthias Jabs. He's awesome too. I'm seeing them live in Las Vegas in April!

YES! ❤️🎶❤️😊🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥saw them live in 84’. They were soooooo technically good on guitars…..seriously good. It’s not often you see trading rhythm and lead guitarists-play together so closely and evenly live, not in 1984 with those bad microphones.❤️
