I remember the first time when I saw this video in 1988, feeling completely in love with the shocking and dazzling beauty of Joan Severance, I thought she was a German girl because of her demeanor, panache and grace; but she is American, from Houston, Texas. Matthias Jabs is a very unique guitarist...I can recognize his phrasing and style within seconds....Like my dad said you dont have to be the best because there is no such thing but you just got to find and develop your own style. Rudolf is great as well. He can play great harmonies and leads himself but rather stick to rhythm which is what its all about.

I was born in 1974 and lived through the BEST DECADE EVER !!! Music was absolutely amazing and you couldn't even point a stick at all the incredible bands back then ! The fondest memories of my life are all from the 80's and these guys helped Americans and Russians learn to live in peace again. They were awesome !!!

1974 here too; still remember vividly when Love at First Sting, Under Lock and Key, Pyromania, Out of the Cellar, and similar were introduced into my consciousness. Funny though this is the first time that I have seen this music video; I don't think that it was aired nearly as much as some others.

The woman featured in the video is actress/model Joan Severance. She was on a TV show called Wiseguy in the late-80s, along with Ken Wahl, Kevin Spacey, and Jonathan Banks. She also posed for Playboy in the early-90s.

This album, Savage Amusement, was neither as good as it's predecessor (Love at First Sting) nor successor (Crazy World), but it had its moments in the form of some solid songs...this is one of them. I'd label it a Scorpions classic.

This band had everything. I'm just happy they made so many great albums and Klause seemed to be a genuinely great person and didn't quit the band. I think he had to have an operation on his throat though in his later years with the band. This kind of singing, as musical as it is must be so tough on the vocal chords. Night after night of touring etc, takes its toll.
