'Always Somewhere' sticht aus der damaligen Umbruchphase Ende der 70er neben 'Holiday' und etwas später 'Still Loving You' heraus und ist eine so wunderschöne und zeitlose Knallerballade, komplett reduziert auf den wesentlichen emotionalen Kern (anders konnten Sie auch nie musizieren), so daß ich mich an ihr nie satthöre. Dafür sorgt schon Klaus' einzigartige Stimme. So grundgut, ehrlich und vertraut und m.M.N. 90% des Geheimnisses dieser Band. Für mich war das Lied Beleg dafür, daß die Scorpions nach dem damaligen Ausstieg von Uli noch noch nicht am Ende waren. Ohne Wertung ihres danach weichgespülten kommerzielleren Gewandes und trotz ihres seither überwiegend nur noch begrenzt spannenden Materials, doch in der Lage, der Welt noch 1,2 weitere absolute Klassiker für die Ewigkeit zu bescheren. Außer Kraftwerk fällt mir kein anderer deutscher Act von ähnlich internationaler Relevanz, Gültigkeit und Tragweite ein. Tangerine Dream, die Hosen, Nico, Klaus Nomi oder Trio waren natürlich herrlich stiebende Funken und hell aufblitzende Sterne, im Vergleich zum mittlerweile wenigstens 45 Jahre andauernden und weltweit bis in den hintersten Winkel dieses Erdballs reichenden buchstäblich nahezu allumfassenden Bekanntheitsgrad der Scorpions, tatsächlich aber nur kurz aufleuchtende Sternschnuppen. Das Phänomen Scorpions beruht darauf, daß Sie imstande sind ohne Umwege direkt in die Herzen vieler Menschen vorzudringen. Womit ich wieder bei Klaus' Stimme angelangt bin. Auch kaum eine andere Band (Priest? Maiden?), hat mit soviel Ehrgeiz, Plan und Zielstrebigkeit auf den internationalen Erfolg hingearbeitet und das seit frühesten Lonesome Crow Tagen. In Deutschland gab es wohl außer Udo Lindenberg zu dieser Zeit sonst niemanden, der die deutsche Rockmusik mit dieser Vehemenz und Geradlinigkeit, dazu mit massivem Output, derart nachdrücklich geprägt und mit nach vorn gebracht hat. Verdienstbescheinigung. Also,- in jedem Fall, der Fuchs ging voran. Was die Scorpions angeht - I'm still loving you 1974-1977 (plus die hier erwähnten Teile) und daran wird sich nichts mehr ändern und auch wenn ich Sie nicht mehr oft höre; wenn, dann natürlich die ganz alten Sachen mit Uli. Dann kullert mir schon mal die eine oder andere Träne über die Backe. Aus nostalgischer Freude und Melancholie.

The electric version of that song is so cool....can't understand that the band play it with acoustic quitars for the last 20 years....Really great to see this concer have been released in dvd,back in 2015

@@davidvanbrunt4233 Of course his singing isn't as powerfull as it was when he was younger. The man is 73 years old. But overpowering the voice in a concert is not a problem as long as microphones are used and the audio engineers do a good job.

Виртуозы,чё тут скажешь...Они исполняют по технике,я уверенна...Конечн,у них бывает не получается идеально,но,блин,я сама музыкант,я знаю,что это такое..Как паршиво у меня получается порой вы ещё не слышали...Чё к ним придираться на пустом месте?Они стараются всегда,упорно трудятся...Они ваще трудяги полные...И настоящие музыканты без задних мыслей...На этом конце оч круто у них получается,да и звучат здорово..Они виртуозы на самом деле...Да,виртуозы...Они самые крутые музыканты среди всех других...Все другие не на их уровне далеко...Пускай у них не всё идеально,ошибочки бывает проскальзывают,но кто не ошибается?У крутого Бобби Тиммонса тож помарки встречаются,да у него их даж больше...Короч,Скорпионс самые крутые и точка..Я как их послушала как следует,больше никого другого с тех пор и не слушаю..Не нужны мне другие)))Лан,замолкну)))
