Scotland fans in Munich give their verdict on 5-1 thumping from Germany in Euro 2024 shocker

The travelling Tartan Army woke up with more than just a hangover in Munich this morning following Scotland's 5-1 thumping at the hands of Germany.
Steve Clarke's side had a shocker in the Allianz Arena against the hosts but it's still all to play for with two more group games against Switzerland and Hungary still to play.
The Daily Record team in Munich were out and about early doors today to see what the fans thought went wrong last night and get their take on where we go from here.

'everyone loves how we party' 'look at how well behaved we are.' You're like a bunch of toddlers wanting teacher's approval. You've no backbone at all. Standing and applauding a 5-1 defeat sums you up. It's 30 years since Scotland qualified for a major competition with fans in attendance ! Where was the improvement in that time ,last night ? Where was the superb technical evolution of the players from 30 years ago ? It was humiliating ! They say that your national side is only as good as it's domestic set up ? I am a 64 year old man who is sick to the back teeth about Scotland teams attitude, it’s as if we have this glorious in defeat attitude and this “we just about qualified” inbred in us, well it’s time to put this attitude where the sun don’t shine. I’ve just listened to our manager this morning talking about needing to get 4 points. What a defeatist attitude to have. Sorry but I’d have liked 9 points, now that’s out the way due to a humiliation to Germany I want 6 points from our remaining two matche s not flamin 4. As long as Scotland have this mindset we will never succeed, we are one nil down before we get on the flippin park. I’ve spoken to mates who say that teams like England are too arrogant well they are not they are confident and there is nothing wrong with that. I Saw Alex Ferguson in crowd last night perhaps he could give them a bollocking to get them to try and believe in themselves. I know we have no superstars but as a collective we can do so much more so come on Scotland let’s get 6 points from our remaining 2 matches and let’s get this glorious in defeat attitude put to bed and a mental positive attitude . If football was invented in Scotland, as we Scots claim it was, it's clear that we've forgotten how it should be played! Scotland, to be brutally honest, were absolutely nowhere near good enough to be on the same pitch as the 23 other countries how have qualified for these finals. All five of our much vaunted midfield were totally anonymous. We were absolutely outplayed in every facet of the game. Perhaps we should draft in the Women's national team to play Switzerland and Hungary because our clueless men's team were so far off the standard required!

If Steve Clark does not get the squads mentality back into the belief we have seen Scotland play recently a loss against Switzerland will seal Steve Clark’s job as in getting the chop!! If he does fail and get the chop my candidate for next Scotland manager is Derek McInnes would be the man to get Scotland where they should be which is playing with fight and passion! I think that it will be very interesting to see the Germans against serious opposition later on,but how they played against us was quite exceptional.Albeit,Clark seems to be very short of team picking,he should have had a better starting 11 better than that lot,why ?because he is not competent enough to try the newer boys.Robertson,Tierney,Hanley and Ralston and McGregor all of whom shit it and failed badly.
