I still stand by my opinion that Scotland in winter is the most beautiful place on the planet. If North Carolina and Iceland met, it would look like this, and the people are so incredible. Thanks for a lovely watch Shaun!

Masterful! You let me inhabit your POV with drone footage, a dashcam, and following your footsteps through these chilling and serene scenes. The music and ambient sounds were the perfect "narration" for your video.

I discovered not long ago that my Paternal Grandmothers family came to the United States from Scotland. Now I know why I have had a lifelong fascination with the pipes and everything Scottish. It's in my blood. Now I am on a quest to find what part of Scotland they hailed from and when they left Scotland.

Beautiful, Shaun! All I could ask would be a few discreet subtitles to tell us (for example) where were we that seemed to be a river flowing through ice and snowfields, and something about the illuminated ruins near the end. Spectacular footage and editing!

Beautiful! Dramatic! At first I thought I'd comment "I like the shot with...." and "I love the shot where...", but there are too dang many fantastic shots. This comment would be pages long! However, I must say the shot with Shaun grinning like a little boy into the falling snow made me smile, too.

Shaun, have you ever considered hooking up with some of the better tornado chasers in "Tornado Alley" in the US from mid-May to early June? You have the chance to see tornados, funnel clouds, wall clouds, shelf clouds, anvil heads, golf-sized (or larger) hail stones, mammatus clouds. A few years, ago, in early June while driving west on a major highway into the Badlands of South Dakota, we experienced an epic shelf cloud that crushed the horizon and the sky above it toward us--fast. It actually spouted mini funnel clouds (a tornado is when a funnel cloud touches the ground) that actually whipped about. When the wall replaced the sky overhead, it looked like a titanic, warped, amethyst geode: dark to light purple--I didn't know it could do that.

@@shaunvlog I know you'd be very welcome by any of the professional tornado chasers to tour with them during tornado season. They love talking about their work and passion. They are also a lively, dedicated, strong folk. If you have not already done so, I highly recommend checking any of them out on KZfaq. Such weather, like auroras, and enjoying them are epic.
