The manager went to ibrokes and watched him have an absolute nightmare against the big Motherwell striker a couple of weeks ago. Yet he still picked him for the squad and the team collapsed when he came on. Wouldn't even look good in the Highland League

Starting 11 done more than compete with them, loooked the better side for the most part. On another night they chances hit the back of the net. Starting 11 tonight done well enough to give me hope for the euros. Shanks is the main striker for me 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Shankland did what Shankland does. He misses far more than he scores. His percentageof goals to shots is abysmal. People thinking he's going to be the solution are kidding themselves on. He could get 50 caps and he won't score more than 10 for Scotland. He's an average Striker missing chances in a poor domestic league.

@@garymitchell854 I've seen stats, mate. He's wasteful in front of goal. He's had around 130 shots this season and missed over 100 of them. Hence he misses far more than he scores. That can't be disputed

He was in the line up against, Spain and England when we lost. It is very unlikely he would have made a difference. Plus the whole team was awful second half. We can't say for sure though what Macgregor would or wouldn't do for Scotland last night as he wasn't available. So he has nothing to do with this. Keep your club fan boy talk out of the international games. There is no Rangers V Celtic here. Its Scotland.

@@rangersnutDon’t really agree with that tbh. The team were good for most of the game but we were let down by the defence especially. Patterson and Hendry aren’t international level players. Shankland missed a sitter, sure, but bear in mind he hasn’t been used much and he was coming up against VVD. Think the 4-0 scoreline really flattered the Dutch but ultimately they took their chances and we didn’t. On another day, it could well have been 4-0 to Scotland.

Not really and iam Dutch. Yes we got some better players that won us the game in the end(for example, we finished the chances we got) but Scotland played the better football untill the 2-0. Then they broke.

It was more really disappointing because they played really well in that first half imo they won the first half even though they were a goal down they had way more of the ball and more chances they just couldn’t take em, the final score doesn’t tell how the game went because even though it was a shite result there are still so many things to learn from it but they really need to start winning games like these Because if they don’t were nae getting oot the group in the euros. Ps go rangers🔵🔴⚪️

@lukeoliver1384 I appreciate your point. For me though, as much as I am a Rangers fan, when I come to watch Scotland I leave all that aside and support my country. They are capable of way better than this. Hopefully they show it going forward and get their acts together defensively.
