A young lad from Scotland had to go to school far away from home. There, he had a room with two other roommates. After a while, his parents asked him how is life at school and how the other boys are. He told them that in general all is good, but his mates were a little weird. One of them had many, many pillows and was always sleeping buried under them all. The other boy would scream in the middle of the night and then bang his head against the wall for hours and hours. And what do you do? How do you cope? Asked his parents. I don't really mind, he replied. I just ignore them and keep training in playing the bagpipes!

I’m English and I recognise that The Scots have very much been unrepresented in British politics and understand why they feel anger in the way the English treat them, we must do better as they really do put the ‘Great’ in Great Britain. Much love from me towards our brothers 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿♥️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Greetings to all scottish people from Iran or Persia, a country far away from you, in the heart of Middle East; I like celtic musical instruments, especially the scottish bagpipe and interesting to know that we Iranians also have our own bagpipe (we call "Ney Anban") with a different sound from the Scottish bagpipe. Anyway, I feel so proud to listen to this epic perfomance; even though I'm not scottish!!

Funny you mention Norway and Germany. Our family is a blend of Scots-Irish and German. I did a DNA Test with MyHeritage and was blown away when it back with a 38% Norwegian/Scandinavian portion. It makes sense with Vikings invading Britain, but that it is such a large part is astonishing.
