Scotland Travel Vlog! Edinburgh, Highlands & Riding the Hogwarts Express (Jacobite Steam Train)!

The last stop of our UK trip was Scotland, an incredibly beautiful land. We stayed in magical Edinburgh, toured the Scottish Highlands, and even got to ride the Jacobite Steam Train aka the real-life Hogwarts Express! This trip was absolutely a dream come true.

We leave Thursday for Scotland we kind of are taking your advice. 5 days Edinburgh Rent A Car 1 day Ft William 1 Day Inverness 2 Days St Andrews Travel day back to Edinburgh then Train to London 5 Days in London

i was in scotland last year for approx 12 days and it only poured like 1.5 days straight, with a couple light sprinkles here and there on some of the other days, man i was so lucky with the weather. this brings back so many memories i want to go back so bad

Watching all these tourist videos, I'm struck by how 'samey' most are. No-one seems to visit the beautiful Trossachs, the fishing villages of the East Neuk of Fife, the Clyde Coast with its islands and lochs, the Angus Glens etc. Presumably, folk stick to A roads. Most just don't stay long enough to get a full idea of the country.

I think the leave two days to take in Scotland or 5 at the most. They couldn’t possibly see all they have to see.

I agree. They kind of go. Edinbro, Tom Riddle, Three Sisters, Glenfinnan Viaduct, Isle of Skye. Maybe throw in some Kelpies and Highland Coos. You get the occasional visit to Glasscow, but that'll just be to get a flight or a train. Mull of Kintyre no longer exists, neither does Dumfries and Galloway. As a kid, Aberfoyle was a holiday destination. Stay in the Covenanters and traipse about the forest, getting soaked to the skin. Doesn't register on KZfaq. Also, I've yet to see anyone go to Cumbernauld. They don't know what they are missing as this truly is Scotland's hidden gem.

@@bigmeltie1 people do what they can in short period of time. They tend to gather in the most popular areas. Maybe if they were here longer or they advertised other places more in their home country they would. Tourists go where tourists go.

All those fresh water lochs eh , We in Scotland get the best tap water in the world and then some , The folks in Scotland have the bragging rights for having the best tap water in the UK (and the world!). That's right - the tap water of each country has been tested and it turns out Scottish tap water comes out on top.
