Rangers fans are loyal to a union that has existed for over 300 years. The Queen herself is half Scottish and I'm proud to be united with Scotland as an Englishman. We're better together. I'm neither English nor Scottish but you have to admit that this game has the longest tradition when it comes to international games. It's like FC Bayern München vs. TSV 1860 München in Germany. Bayern plays in the Bundesliga since they arrived there in 1965 and 1860 travelled a lot between the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga and a few years ago they had to go to the 4rth division because they were bankrupt. In the 4rth league they played against Bayern II and the stadium was always sold out. Now they are back in the 3rd division and are on their way to contend for the promotion back to the 2nd Bundesliga. Their last league game against Bayern was in 2004 in the Bundesliga and their last real competition game against Bayern was in the German Cup in 2008. Fürth never made it to the Bundesliga until 2012 and went back down to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2013 but the rivalry is still still living because Nürnberg came down a lot to the 2nd Bundesliga and when they didn't play each both sides found a way to hate each other. It's not only about success. It's about the passion over generations.

It is actually not the English national anthem, it is the British national anthem. Flower of Scotland is the Unofficial national anthem of Scotland, the official anthem is God save the Queen. England don't have a unofficial anthem, but it has been debated. For now they use the British anthem. The British anthem is sung in Scotland but at the same time it is seen as English rule and the suffering Scottish faced while losing their freedom hense the booing. England booing at Scotlands anthem is kind of like saying they support oppression but I am pretty sure they don't.
