Many have labelled this as the steepest climb at the difficult (Diff) grade in Scotland , and a steep climb it certainly is. We headed up on a rather fine morning in Glencoe, headed for the mountain cliff that holds this rather fine climbing route.....

Maybe your oldest fan-widow, 79, saying a huge thank you for bringing back happy memories of mountains enjoyed and many new ones to experience through your adventures. You have kept me happy throughout the pandemic as these have been my evening treat ( together with a wee dram!) As you would say “ stay safe out there” and thanks again. Anne.

Nicely put Anne! Murray's adventures have been a breath of fresh air for all, when so many have been unable to access or discover their own mountains for so long. We don't all do technical climbs like he & Gerry, but the rewards & memories from hiking the uplands are unforgettable. Best, Sebastian

Hi Murray, every time you visit Glencoe it adds extra interest for me. I own a property on the far south coast New South Wales, Australia. It was first farmed by Gordon Simpson, a Scotsman from Glencoe in the 1860’s and named it the same. Like the Glencoe in Scotland it’s a special place.

A favourite area in central glencoe...actually qualifies as a "roadside crag" in glen coe. In its day, this was a "masters wall", all routes were steep without a lot of natural proection. The exposure is obvious in the extreme. Nowadays, it suits modern protection and is a grand place to get into trad climbing. A great wee visit.nice one!
