Jersey Red made the shot famous. The cue ball hits the object ball and banks it back up toward the shooter. Meanwhile the cue ball deflects to the viewer's left, hits the left rail, and comes back to contact the object ball a second time, this time straight toward the other pocket. It's a cross-bank with a kiss in it, only in this case it's the kiss that makes the shot good! It's very low-percentage, for those who want to go out and implement it into their game.

@Piano451 it depends on the rules. sometimes they're playing with object balls' foul. in this match, i guess they're only playing cue ball's foul

Although this is an old video I just wanted to say that this is a relatively easy shot to make and common knowledge, it is taught in a lot of pool/billiard books, the only surprising thing is the probability of the shot popping up in a game...Had to happen sometime and be caught on video right!? It's a numbers game after all

ive been playing pool for about 2 years now and im a senior in highschool im a alright player better than my friends most of the time but i watch stuff like this and i have no idea what there playing i play 8 ball and 9 ball can anyone take some time to tell me what there playing and how it works thank you mike
