ABOUT CHICAGO MED
From Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf, "Chicago Med" is an emotional thrill ride through the day-to-day chaos of the city's newest state-of-the-art trauma center and into the lives of the courageous doctors, nurses, and staff who hold it all together, including Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss), Dr. Daniel Charles (Oliver Platt), Sharon Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson), Dr. Ethan Choi (Brian Tee), Dr. Dean Archer (Steven Weber), Maggie Lockwood (Marlyne Barrett), Dr. Crockett Marcel (Dominic Rains), Dr. Stevie Hammer (Kristen Hager) and Dr. Dylan Scott (Guy Lockard).
Together they will confront Chicago's most critical medical cases and challenging ethical dilemmas with courage, compassion and state-of-the-art treatment. Inspired by ripped-from-the-headlines cases, "Chicago Med" will weave cutting-edge medicine with the personal drama that comes with working in such a high-intensity environment.
Chicago Med is available now on Peacock, the new streaming service from NBCUniversal. Watch thousands of hours of hit movies and shows, plus daily news, sports, and pop culture updates. Stream now on Peacock.

Why where the cops prepared to kill an unarmed young man without any hesitation even though he was clearly in distress? Yes he could have hurt people but definitely not fatally and he was way more likely to hurt himself instead. Do cops always shoot first in American? I genuinely don’t understand the logic here if there is any.

This his sooo close to reality and it’s said that in real life cops experience people like this and it’s sad that they don’t even know how to handle someone with a mental illness or who’s having a psychiatric episode. They pulled out the gun first as a reaction and I get it but at the same time I feel like cops should be taught how to probably handle situations like these. You would think since policing has been developed throughout the years you’d think it would be common sense for them to develop more classes that focus on the be care of people and them know how to spot stuff like this and how to help and care for those who’s like this young man. The fact they pulled out a gun instead instead of asking questions about this situation is terrifying on its own and a damn shame on there part.

The solution is not to defund the police but to require them to specifically go through the same three years of training that many police in other countries go through. In that time they wouldn't cover all their armed basis as well as de-escalation they would understand through taking psychology courses and sociology and be able to know when to use their arms and when to not draw

I'm not jumping on anybody...but a trigger warning on this video would be a good thing. my anxiety started to kick in when I started watching. I caught it and I was fine. Just give people a heads up. Thanks.:)

@@cocothequail8042 . Just...Trigger Warning...I think is enough I think. People would be able to figure whether or not to watch. It's intense and so well acted. I was fighting tears by the end. I'm not trying to start anything, I'm just suggesting a heads up. I watched for a scene I'm writing and it's going to be extremely helpful. I'll probably end up having to put a warning on my story by the end.

As someone who has his condition. Yes meds do help but sometimes it don’t work every minute- every hour. I have days where it happens. It’s horrible, based on your last sentence you clearly don’t know anything about mental health.
