Scott overall is a good character and but as an Alpha Derek was more badass at least in season 2, he got his ass kicked by Ennis and Kali in 3. Scott had some great moments, knocking that girl out when she tried to decapitate him, fighting the Oni. But the Kanima was a more formidable opponent as it couldn't really die and it was fast, paralyzing venom.

Scott deserves better no matter how much danger he is in he will never give up.He believes in people like when “the only way was to kill Jackson to save us all’ he still said they cant kill him,Jackson made Scott’s school life a living hell and still said no to killing him.He never gives up on his friends also when everybody was saying the only way to save them from void stiles was to kill him he never gave up on stiles he found another way even after being constantly told to kill him.He is a true leader he really does care about his friends and even people who are not his friends.He is so underrated.

Scott in Teen Wolf is so underrated. Like hell, the show is dedicated to him BUT NO. People focus a lot with Stiles or Lydia (not hating because i love them too, and i admit, scott isn't my top fav in the show) but can we admire his leadership?? Starting with Allison, he's willing to stay away from her (hardly) because he knows he can hurt her (not until stiles told him Allison is his anchor). Second, the part where he told deaton to find ways to save jackson not kill him, REMEMBER, he wants to save the guy who's been giving their highschool life HELL. Also, about the Issac and Erica thing, that part on the ice when he said it's not a fair fight for them. Even in the earlier seasons Scott developed a lot of true alpha's character. And i hate that some people don't appreciate him. I mean, he may fuck things up sometimes but in the end he's a worthy leader. And when derek said to the twins about joining the mccall's pack, "i'm sure you'd kill for him, but are you willing to die for him?", "you don't fight for a leader, you fight for a leader's cause" "scott is always about one thing, saving his friends, you wanna earn a place in his pack? You want redemption, find another way to stand and fight." And who wouldn't bow down to that? Derek Freaking "i'm-the-alpha" Hale admired him. Trusted him. If that's the guy you don't look up to. Idk what's wrong with you.

I totally agree with u...Scott is very underrated character...people see his good nature as a weakness...but that good nature makes him a true alpha not like other alphas who kill to get that alpha status

He's definitely underrated. And just because he's the main character doesn't mean he can't be underrated, because he is the main character, and yet also one of the least popular main characters in the show... Actually THE main character are often the most underrated. I also don't see what other characters having problems has to do with whether Scott is underrated or not?
