@FAB1150 Жыл бұрын
Thing is that they're not stabilized! F1 cameras don't have OIS, are pretty much one with the chassis and purposefully use a shutter speed tuned to not let the engine vibrations interfere. As long as the car's stable, the footage is stable. No stabilization required. All the jello effect you see here is a mix of OIS that with all the vibrations wobbles the lens around, very fast shutter speed that again with the high frequency vibrations makes for a jelloy experience, and the camera mount that shakes a bit with the weight of the camera.

The guy who won the Gold had intimate knowledge of the course and a Zyzek Sportscar which is far more suited to this format of hillclimbing, this was Scott Moran's first weekend on this hill in a car that is optimised around much tighter courses that are far shorter (as typically run in the British Hillclimb Championship).

Low center of gravity that comes from the driver's brass testicles works in tandem with downforce, significantly improves the car's handling through the corners.

The reaction time you need to be able to hit these corners perfectly is insane. Props to all the drivers out there who risk their necks for our entertainment.
@PriusTurbo2 жыл бұрын
The last thing they're doing this for is our entertainment. If you don't have a passion for motorsport, you don't race. Now the folks that do stunts (and sometimes wreck their cars) so they can post on youtube or IG, they are doing it for our entertainment and views.

The way this machine accelerates would make my eyes bleed! Well done Scott, I've watched it about 6 times consecutively and think its one of the best videos I have watched on KZfaq lately. Amazing machine, jockey and skills to be able to push that hard and keep it on the road! Awesome hill climb by the way too, you can really get the hammer down properly on this hill climb compared to Shelsey👌👍😎

@Billy-bc8pk3 жыл бұрын
@@m1- That's actually incorrect. While the ending sentence adverb avoids the end-of-sentence preposition faux pas, the structure of the grammar beforehand is wrong, and it's also missing a comma at the end, given that "randomly" is an out-of-clause observation, hence the pause. The correct way to pose that question is: Who else just received this in their recommended, randomly?
