Wish I could have heard the whole hearing. True Crime Matters with Tara Marie breaks down part of the motion. Mostly witnesses. They do have a declaration from the Medina's that the burglary was on the 24th. Steve Todd made the mistake of using the Medina's landline phone to call Glenn Pearce. That information was given to the police department but they kicked to the curb. There are also other witnesses declaratios. Enjoy if you watch it. It has 4 parts.@@COURTTV

What are the chances that “The burglars “ deposed of her body right where Scott was fishing. 🙄 I mean …seriously? The same day Lacy and Conner were identified, Scott dyed his hair, borrowed his brother’s photo ID , and headed for the Mexico border with over $10,000 in cash. I could go on. 🫤Too many RED FLAGS 🚩.

I am very disappointed in the LA Innocence Project. I was pregnant at they same time as Lacey and between 1. His lies to his mistress during his wife’s candlelight vigil 2. Telling Amber that he had “lost” his wife 3. The boat bought right before his wife was murdered that no one knew about 4. His wife and child’s body washing up right where he gave his alibi at 5. The call to her mother and saying “she’s missing” before even making calls to friends in case she was picked up by a friend 6. The hair in the pliers….i can go on and on. There are so many cases that deserve a deeper look but this isn’t one of them. What a slap in Sharron’s face!

We ALL watched the trial .. Scott is GUILTY! All mother’s knew what he did ! So , much evidence! Innocent people don’t run to the border with different hair color , 10,000 cash and brother’s passport on the day your wife and child are found washed up on a bay that he happened to be fishing on when no one knew he had a boat he hid it in a storage facility ! When Lacey’s step father asked him , you have a boat and Scott said yes I bought it for you !! I could go on and on ….this burns me

@@Treesah0416 I was pregnant the same time Lacy was too and where they found the remains is on a trail by the bay I used to frequent all the time. He is 100 percent guilty and nothing will change that. They expect us to believe that he went to the Berkeley Marina on a bad day weather wise because I remember and the very same day Lacy goes missing and months later her and Conners remains not very far from where Scott was?? Yeah right! No one framed him no one was after them. They lived a low risk lifestyle so I don’t believe that theory either. The man is where he needs to be and if he gets a new trial based on a stupid technicality that would be devastating! Let Lacy and Conner Rip! Shame on the LA innocence project! They are barking up the wrong tree cause this monster is guilty on all counts!

I mean, putting aside my personal opinion that this is a collosal waste of time and resources, these types of steps and retrials are actually important. It forces the authorities to adhere to an impeccable standard of work so that the convictions can remain safe. Of you submit sloppy work, leave glaring holes in your case, have liabilities of any kind its going to allow guilty individuals to walk free - and frankly I'm still shocked at the amount of sketchy cases making it to court. If anything, the retrial process will just reinforce the guilty verdict. And if it doesn't then serious questions and investigations need to be done over how the case was handled so thar something like this can NEVER happen again. Hopefully it would benefit all of us for the better.... but that honestly depends if departments are left to "investigate themselves" 🙄

No sign of Laci being alive on December 24th but plenty of evidence of Scott being around all morning and all day (if the defense had one relevant witness they would have testified in court). Scott researching the tides, currents in the Bay and around Brook's Island before he even bought the boat. Buying a secret boat. Buying a 2 day fishing licence specifically for the 23rd and 24th on December 20th for a supposed unplanned, last minute fishing trip. No explanation for where all that extra cement from a 90lb bag went. One of Laci's hairs wrapped around the working end of a pair of pliers in his boat. Someone saw Scott loading something large wrapped in a tarp into his truck that morning. Wrapping 3 large patio umbrella's in a tarp to take them to his warehouse to store but then taking them 90 minutes down the highway to the marina in the small open short bed of his truck, back to the warehouse and then back home again where he unloaded them and put them in his backyard with all his other seasonal items. Lying to police that night and telling them that his warehouse had no power when they were searching it. Bringing home the canvas boat cover to the boat that had never been at the house and storing it in a shed, under a leaf blower he had not used recently. The gas cap was conveniently loose enough to leak gas over the boat cover and the police had to hang it over the fence to air it out before taking it away as evidence. The boat cover was found to have bits of cement debris on it. Mopping the floors at home even though the housekeeper testified that she washed them all with pinesol only the day before.

I don't know who would commit such a crime place a body in the bay and tell LE that's where you were fishing in the same area. Wouldn't a criminal say he was on the other side of the bay and not even mention about brooks island and the No Landing Sign There at the island Etc!! The Divers Looked and Looked For Days and Weeks into months searching in that area at the bay Where Scott Said he was fishing. I'm not Defending Scott But Some Things Don't Add Up If Anyone Has Done Their Own Research Instead of Listening To The " Worst Virus In America!! ( THE MEDIA)

This lady talking to the judge sounds like she's about to cry every single word that is spoken. Im not sure any of this is going to matter. He will still need another trial and not one single person on a jury panel wouldnt already have a negative opinion on this guy. Even if he is innocent for some strange reason, his life is over whether its in prison or not.

There are plenty of reasons why he's guilty, but to point to just one, if Laci was abducted by the burglars returning from her walk or leaving for her walk, she would have been found in black pants and a white top. This is what the "witnesses" Janey put forward say they saw her wearing. This is what Scott says she was wearing and this is what was put on the flyers. However she was found in her own khaki/tan pants, from her favourite store, in her size. She has to have returned home and gotten changed and then gone back outside or the burglars kindly bought her a new outfit. So let's say she got home and got changed to go out, why did she leave the leash on the dog not once but twice, something according to Scott she didn't do. In fact the first thing Scott did on returning home was to remove the leash. Why did she got outside with no purse, no keys, no phone. She couldn't have seen the burglars from the window, the curtains were drawn. If she saw them on her walk and was concerned, she could have confronted them then and there. Why would she go inside, get changed and go outside with nothing, just to confront them? And before the Scott defenders tell me that's just who Laci was, it actually wasn't. What she was, was a heavily pregnant woman who had been complaining about her fatigue, who had a bunch of stuff to do that day, who the housekeeper said had to sit after going grocery shopping. So she is not going to rush out the door to confront burglars after walking her dog and mopping the floor.

Idk if he did it or not but just think about what it must feel like to rot away in prison for over two decades / the rest of your life / be put to death for a heinous crime you never committed!!! What an absolute tragedy that would be. Just know that there are TONS of people who belong in prison for life that aren't (Casey Anthony) and TONS of people in prison that are 100% innocent. We'll see what the DNA says I pray if he is innocent that he and the family can heal from this tragedy and hopefully find out who really did it !

Scott could have been framed cuz the police department got right on the main media and toad where he was at that day he was fishing I mean if she had been abducted by somebody they could have put her out in that bay cuz they know Scott had been out there they know that the Modesto Police department would automatically blame Scott for her death.. I just never saw the evidence to really put the nail in the coffin that he done it I mean I really didn't. This case should have been dismissed because there was a prejudice person on jury duty she was prejudiced going into it and the Modesto Police department is the total blame for this for their spotty police work and they got tunnel vision absolutely got tunnel vision. My heart goes out to Lacey's family because they're being put through this again and here they spent all these years thinking that their son-in-law killed their daughter and it's due to the Modesto Police department.
@jasonr9481

That theory is illogical... the police didn't announce where he was fishing until the beginning of January. So they kept her body for over a week on ice? ...in hopes that they would happen to say exactly where Scott was and then they found a boat and dumped her there while the Bay was being searched specifically so she would be found. Instead they weighed the body down so incredibly well that it only came up after a large unpredictable storm.

@@jasonr9481 they did tell the main media where Scott was at the question was asked and they did broadcast it on the main media news station apparently you didn't watch the trial I remember when it first happened and I watched it from beginning to end. @@akamomakawife4928 It is a fact that they did not announce exactly where Scott "fished" until January 3rd. Previous to that police had said that Scott was fishing in the Bay, do you realize how massive that area is? How did you "watch the trial from beginning to end" when cameras and recorders were banned? You seem to be confused by getting your information and watching something else entirely.
