Did anyone else notice that they put Mary Winstead as Knives as well?

Years later, despite haters and regardless of box-office, this is STILL my favorite movie of all time. Thanks to everyone who worked on it, starred in it, and made it happen. It wasn't in vain, it really meant a lot to this fan!

Edgar Wright needs to do more movies. I need more movies from Edgar Wright.

Hard to believe this movie has been out this long now. The Cleaning Lady banter has to be the best bit of dumb dialogue ever. I always lose it by the time Brandon does the dusting motion with his hand.

Just discovered this movie. It is the coolest, funniest, most original film in years.

Alison Pill is cute. She was in the movie as well, but so 😠 angry. This movie is loaded with great female talent. Anna Kendrick, Ellen Wong, Aubrey Plaza, Mary Winstead, and again Alison Pill. All of them were great. Hell this movie is in my top 10 comedy goof off lists easy.

I've got this movie safely stored on Tivo. I just watched it again the other day for the umpteenth time. My son has the books. There's a lot of deep lore behind most of the stuff in the movie. Like when Ramona pulls that big hammer out of her bag, you can see there's a star on the bag. She's pulling the hammer out of space/time, just like when she roller skates to random locations. It's a form of the ninja teleportation. Also that thing where Scott says he punched a guy so hard he saw the curvature of the Earth, that actually happened in the books. This is why the movie holds up so well. The plot is based rather solidly on a good story. Instead of adding stupid stuff that doesn't make any sense (like most movies do) they cut a lot of stuff out to make this movie, but you can tell it was based on deeper lore. And Nega-Scott is a really nice guy because Scott is such a jerk. You may have guessed that part.
