Scott looked and sounded great here. Pretty sad to see how far he fell in the years leading up to his death. When he was on his game he was the best.

Apparently, Sorum is a classically trained musician. So is the STP drummer. (Not the case for all rockers.)

I never took the time to listen carefully to scott's voice. I'm an Axl fan and a heavy metal singer. today, way drunk as I am right now, I'm listening to Velvet Revolver and Scott's songs! He is incredible! too bad he is gone, and too bad that I didnt listen more carefully to his songs before! such a great voice, such an awesome performer! he is now in Heaven with my other rock/metal hero, Andre Matos, from Angra, and also Dio and Freddie Mercury! They are probably hanging out together, composing and playing the most awesome songs ever

Weiland was a chameleon singer, able to change tone, style and even range to fit every song he performed.

One of the last guys who was a true front man instead of just a singer. Saw him and his side band on the last tour and he was clearly sober that night and just owning it, even in a room with maybe 400 people

He duped many singers’ voices. Cobain, Jagger, Bowie, Bing Crosby, Perry Farrell, and more. Uncanny.

Agreed rock is not the same without Scott. You know I can’t think of one living artist right now that had his stage presence and control. Maybe Mick Jagger. He’s like 80 and can still work it lol

What’s sad is that I met Scott Weiland in Asheville a few months before his passing and it was not the same person here. In just a few years, addiction had made him a shell of his former self. It takes these old videos to remember who he really was. Thank you to the people who keep that memory alive by uploading stuff like this

Too many guitars and too many backing vocals. However, I agree with the other comment, where someone said Scott looked and sounded good here. I think the time with Velevet Revolver brought him back to earth a little. But then post-STP reunion, that's where he really went down hill.
@suburbanindie4 жыл бұрын
I agree. Scott is flat, there's too much shit going on, the drums are mixed way too high. Clusterfuck
