Im not religious at all i never listened to gospel but im sitting here my body full of chills up and down my spine just sobbing my eyes out i never felt so close to god in my life and i finally feel like i have the strength to fix my life and pick myself up from this incredibly low place ive been in for the last few years this song literally makes me feel like i have gods hand on my heart

I just realized she’s not just hitting random whistle register runs, she’s singing actual lyrics while hitting that note (the lyrics the backup singers are singing) That is true talent I’ve never seen before!

When I first heard this song I just broke out tears at my job hands held high giving God the praise. I was still going through the loss of the hurt and pain from my mother's passing in 2006, and being her only child I didn't know if I was going to be able to go on without herI was only 35 when my mother died and she was only 53.
