You guys should consider a marketing campaign for hospital workers! Currently the standard EDC for us is a Patagonia jacket which only has 3 pockets. This seems like a dream in comparison. Wish you guys had more brick and mortar locations so I could check to see if the pockets were the right size for some standard medical gear.

Hi Wes! We actually had a lab coat with plenty of pockets but it turned out that the market wasn't interested so much as we thought it would be. That's why we had to scrap them. But we'll take it into consideration if we could somehow improve or maybe develop scrubs with pockets. Thank you.

@@scottevest unfortunately lab coats have really fallen out of favor and very few wear them. Patagonia Better Sweater (or other brand equivalent) is what most use in the hospital now and is more akin to your EDC/revolution 2.0 (albeit much less functional). By marketing campaign I just meant taking what you guys already have and show casing how a healthcare provider could utilize the pockets. And yeah, the scrub market seems like another very tough one to break into - best of luck!

Thanks so much, Wes! Great ideas. We've already had some breakthrough to the other side, namely people who need their medical devices on their person all the time, such as diabetes patients. We even had a collaboration with JDRF. This is another opportunity that we'll definitely take into consideration.

I have a number of ScotteVest products from years past. Just travelled with my similar jacket a couple weeks ago, and lamented that I couldn't thread anything through the zipper pull. Using a pull with a hole in it would be more versatile. I'm sure you'll say you want to keep it streamlined.....yadda yadda. Most zipper pulls have a hole in it for a reason. I wish yours did too.

Thanks for your input but you should know that each and every product that we produce is developed after detailed surveys with our customers. These are basically the features they chose.

I've worn the enforcer jacket since 2015 and am so glad that I can replace it when its time. Also glad the EDC has fixed sleeves, no plastic phone cases, and buttons on the side zips, those have been my only gripes with the enforcer. Is the outer material the same as the enforcer?

A few questions: 1. Does this jacket have a hoodie that tucks away like on the Revolution Plus 2.0? 2. Does it have pockets on the upper sleeves and near the wrists?

It doesn't have a hoodie and it has one pocket on the lower part of the sleeves.

If you order a size medium and up I believe so without a problem.

We surveyed our customers and they did not find this to be a valuable feature. They never took off the sleeves

Oh, you got a pocket flap, and thats a feature. And you show model pulling out and aiming a gun, not just referencing it. And you thinking "Yeah thats acceptable"? I'm an old old Scott eVest customer (way back to the first jacket) and this is the first time I've seen this gun toting nonsense in your content. And I sincerely doubt I'll be a customer in future.

Honestly, agreed. There's no need for the gun in this marketing let alone a cutaway shot of him drawing and aiming it. Why didn't you just have a comment like 'easy pants pocket access' or 'belt item access' like a mutli-tool? Your target market is international, not just the US.

This jacket was designed to carry your Every Day Carry essentials, as well as accommodate holsters for legal firearms. There is nothing wrong with that. We sell to tons of legit law enforcement purposes. No reason to avoid that. Scott

@@scottevest UK Customer here, guns aren't EDC here and most of our police aren't armed, and those that are tend not to be concealed. Fine, if you only want to address the US market with your positioning; the only cutaway to a pocketed thing in use is for the gun. Also, if you associate the side zip with gun carrying then thats a liability for folks in countries where gun carrying isn't a norm - someone can note the side zip and jump to the conculsion that you are carrying. And that's a pretty big negative.

@@d.j.walker-morgan9149 Our primary market is the USA, although we are happy to sell internationally. Guns are legal in USA, and a 2d amendment right. We only endorse a legal use of weapons in all cases. Sorry if you feel that is a negative to you.
