16 күн бұрынMasters champion Scottie Scheffler was arrested Friday morning on his way to the PGA Championship, with stunning images showing him handcuffed as he was taken to jail for not following police orders during a pedestrian fatality investigation.
In a span of three hours, Scheffler was arrested wearing gym shorts and a tee shirt, was dressed in an orange jail shirt for his mug shot, and returned to Valhalla Golf Club in golf clothes 56 minutes before he was to tee off in the second round.

This morning, I was proceeding as directed by police officers. It was a very chaotic situation, understandably so considering the tragic accident that had occurred earlier, and there was a big misunderstanding of what I thought I was being asked to do. I never intended to disregard any of the instructions. I'm hopeful to put this to the side and focus on golf today. Of course, all of us involved in the tournament express our deepest sympathies to the family of the man who passed away in the earlier accident this morning. It truly puts everything in perspective."

The cop literally stuck his hand in and open the door and arrested him like as if Scottie caused the accident himself... Like tf is wrong with the cop lol The cop totally mistake a golfer getting around the regular traffic so he can get to the tournament to not be late and then of course this whole misunderstanding makes him more late... The cop is out of line. I heard the testimony from the reporter that saw everything. Wild.

We won't know unless the body cam can make certain that the instruction was clear. Most people can comply with clear instructions, which makes this response unusual.

The officer told him to stop. HE DID NOT COMPLY. If he had just complied there would’ve been no problems riiiiight? At least that’s what most of you say about these types of videos.
