Great game between the Bulls and Wolves featuring the young guns Stephon Marbury and Kevin Garnett who were on fire early in the game. Jordan was also on fire early in the game but was suffering from a stiff neck lingering from the game before that limited him in the 2nd half. Pippen caught fire in the 2nd half to bury the Wolves finishing with 29 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 blocks and also did a great job defensively battling Minnesota's leading scorer Tom Gugliotta all night. Dennis Rodman caught the headlines (and a nice suspension) after this game for kicking a cameraman.

What a sequence at 13:15. Hits the three, next possession lefty dunk over Vrankawhatever lol and then somehow can still get back on defense and take the charge on Gugliotta and is even nice enough to help him up lol. All the skill on display.

He might not be mj , kobe, lbj etc that takes game winning shots but he makes game winning steals, blocks, passes etc. He is not scoring problems for other teams but a major defensive problem for them. That is why Pippen 33 is the best all around player in NBA history 🤣🤣🤣

Rodman kicks the cameraman @ 12:02. He threatened to sue Rodman, and later Dennis agreed to pay the guy $200,000.

Pippen was good. He just always had a tendency of going up too soft with those layups that he would miss most of the times. Use to piss me off back then.

I mean jordan was hurt n he was still the guy drawing all the double teams n shot 54.5 percent from the floor n dropped 25 pts.. Scottie played great but yeah that was a great game for Scottie 29 pts 7 reb 5 assists… that would not b a great game for Jordan. It would b run of the mill. That’s really close to what jordan avg for a season in 97 n he was the guy who drew all the double teams

Reg/Pippen used to amaze me because he would be the man in 3 quarters but disappear in the 4th especially if the bulls would need a real push. If he was more of a closer, i believe he would’ve earned so much more respect. I truly believe that would’ve shut many people down about how good he was
