I'm nigerian and I grew u eating jollof rice with every stew my mom made. I can eat jollof on its own, but I prefer eating it with a soup or stew, especially if the rice is really dry. Good jollof can be eaten on its own though (plaintain is always welcome obviously 😁)

I actually jollof rice with efo and egusi and red stew, and grew up like that. I actually don’t really like jollof on its own. Mixing it with a stew or soup, takes it to another level. I did grow up in the states but I know a lot of Nigerians who do the same.

I don’t like jollof on it’s own. I eat with coleslaw or efo, egusi, fried stew etc But I’m known to mix everything anyways. Try spag and egusi (without the leaves and stew consistency) 👌🏽👌🏽
