@@rj-zz8im no matter people’s politics we should all agree that polluting our environment sucks on multiple levels and the brown water problem is only one of them. Never understood why having a nice place to live in or clean water to drink or swim or fish in is a political issue. Siesta Key ain’t no joke. I’ve been to several beaches all over The USA and the Caribbean and it’s by far the best. It’s famous for its sand which is claimed to be the purest in the world. It’s 99.9% quartz. It’s so white it doesn’t get hot and so fine it literally feels like you’re walking on baby powder. The Gulf Coast of Florida in general has the best beaches in The USA.

It's always a treat for me to see America through the eyes of people who have never experienced it before. The sand on the Gulf Coast is like flour. It's unbelievably soft. I'm an American and I couldn't believe it the first time my feet felt it. I know some Scottish fellas love diving into frigid water; don't come to Florida for that. We host what is called "The Worlds Richest Tarpon Tournement" here every year in the Boca Grande Pass and on Gasparilla Island. This place is world renowned for its tarpon fishing, as well as all other salt water fishing. Maybe on your next drive by heading to the keys you guys can stop and check it out. That warm water will be a major source of clean power in the future! They already have a pilot plant in Hawaii. If you have warm on the surface, and it's deep enough that's really cold at the bottom, you can derive energy from that. Google Makai Ocean Engineering, they're the ones who built it. I think we will see them on all the islands like Guam, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands. States along the Gulf of Mexico would also be a good use of it. 🙂

You can always take the ferry out to Ship island or some of Mississippi’s other barrier islands to get the awesome looking water and big waves. Yeah, Mississippi’s water doesn’t look to good because of the Mississippi River being practically the waste and mud filter of the country out into the gulf, plus all of Mississippi’s barrier islands keep the murky Mississippi gulf water from spreading out and situated all in our gulf between the mainland and the barrier islands.
