This was a great match, Dundee United were unlucky. Being a Rangers fan, I had to actually sit in the Dundee United end for this one that day, but I enjoyed seeing them compete so well. Proper old school cup final ⚽❤

I can't either a it was a well known fact , the Dumbarton lawyer was a bheast lover . He got his own back the following year when he sent Novo off, in championship decider at Pittodrie where he gave Rangers nothing

@@ger50champ don't think that was the following year mate it was same season as this. Cheated out of a quadruple having to play a game every other day. We won the league at Tannadice the year after this
