I remember that day well. I shot this video footage at the GT headquarters. It was a great day and experience.

Even on someone else's bike Mike D was still in a class of his own.

Eddie and Mike blasting, this footage is so great. No helmets on that shaky setup is crazy, but they're ruling it.

Looks like Mike and Eddie switched bikes to try them out. Awesome video. 👍

I remember the Mid 80s!! No internet!!! Just my Commodore 64! The only way I could find out info about the BMX world was patiently waiting for BMX plus or BMX action to come out every month! I wasn't able to get them every month, so it was hard to know exactly what was going on! I remember trying to keep up with these guys! I'll be honest I couldn't keep up with who the legend Mike D was riding for! It's 2024 and I still don't know! Lol For me Mikes name always reminded me of Diamond Back! If I'm remembering correctly I think he was with Hutch before that era! I know about him joining up with Haro at some point and that's all I know. Now I see him in a GT video and I'm thinking so basically he rode for every bike company in existence besides Team Murray, Schwinn and I don't believe he rode for huffy! Lol! Mike is a man of the world! Lmao I'm just playing he's amazing and so is everyone else in this video! My idols growing up

Same here. I had my C64, and had a BMX Plus subscription (and got BMX Action every now and then). Plus word of mouth from friends and other bike riders, which was often false.

To think back then we were getting higher then they were.

Back when the actually peddled into a ramp instead of coasting in from a 80 foot high tower engineered to be smooth as a babies ass 😂
