27 күн бұрынIn this video, we replace the input shaft, pulley, fan and transmission belt on a Scott S1642 lawn tractor. In my case, the pulley was the most worn component.

The failure of the fan pulley against the splined shaft is due to fretting corrosion. Can be avoided by coating both oj the mating parts with a heavy moly grease or gluing the two together low strength loctite.

I *think* you may have forgot to install the C-clip on the new shaft, the one that you said that you didn’t need to remove from the old shaft.

Left tire has some concerning wear. Almost makes me wonder if the axle is bent.
