In today's video, we are checking out Stage Traxx 3, an app for musicians that does everything (or least it feels like it). This app has been the main app that I've been using now, because it can do backing tracks, lyrics, autoscroll, chord charts, transposing, MIDI, looping sections of a song, rearrange backing tracks on the fly, highlight lyrics, playlists, host/joining sessions, and much more. Hi Scott, first of all thanks for your videos they are very helpful! I have a big question. I’m gonna start using stage Traxx on my shows and it took me 8 months to put all my song in there and organized everything. Question is…. If something happens to my iPad and I have to buy a new one and download stage Traxx again, how can I recovered all my work? All my songs organized the way I put? Thanks mate

I dont know how old you re but i can tell youre 100 percent pro super organized. Imagine trying to gig on different places hiring musicians without these tools. Really useful - thanks. We've been using ST3 for a while but in a very simple mode of having a bought in backing track and just playing it start to finish. Now we want to make our own backing tracks and want to be able to mute stems for when we have guest musicians. Thanks again!

Thats amazing. I was using multitracker but this seems to go way beyond. i love the configurability and support for lyrics and timing in many forms. its pretty much got everything thats important to me from onsong and multitracker and put into one app. the only improvement i would like to see is an increase in the individual audio files that can be loaded into each song so that i can just mute bass when i have a bass player for instance, but i can get past that for the moment.

Yeah I told my band mates “hey, I think I have a new app for us” and it was tough to switch out of the routine we had for quite a few years. But after one show with it, they agreed and we haven’t looked back 🤘

Awesome review and demos! I appreciate you sharing live "oops!" as well and what can mitigate those. I know I've killed a track accidentally where the dance floor was full and everyone into it. Just had to creep up to the mic with a "my bad, let's start again!" LOL.

Lol yeah that’s a tough one to recover from hahaha. Luckily it worked out when I did it and we just ended on a chorus early
